Oh yeah. That's the one.
Every fragrance in my steadily growing collection has a very specific purpose. Whether it be Rayhaan Elixir for that cozy night in, Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EDP for a sophisticated, formal evening, Khadlaj Island for a day on the beach, or Versace Dylan Blue for date nights with that special someone, each scent had a specific vibe, and I needed one that could fit anywhere, at all times, so that the day-to-day life could still smell good.
Enter Stage Bleu De Chanel. Absolutely the most versatile fragrance I now have in my collection. Extremely fresh, fruity in a non-sweet way, light and simple while still being sufficiently sophisticated and mature for a men's fragrance.
There's a reason this has topped the popularity charts since its release. There's a good chance you've smelled this on someone and loved it without even knowing it. I'm happy to be part of that beautiful-smelling crowd.
If there's only one blue fragrance you can rely on for your day-to-day, this one fits the bill. Perfect for anything, at all, at any time.

Smell like WHISKEY. Like, PURE WHISKEY.
I do not have enough testosterone in my body to wear this.
This is for lumberjacks in red flannels with rolled-up sleeves, ready to knock down the entire forest's trees and reward themselves with a single barrel-aged whiskey. And quite frankly, that whole experience is what you get with a spray of this stuff:
Photorealistic whiskey blended with minty cedar, going into an almost pine note. I do not get any vanilla.
A very nice scent, but it's gonna be veeery subjective. I like the scent, but it's not my vibe at all. I could live in a log cabin with this scent permeating the air, and I'd love it, but not a person in my life can stomach this scent, hence why I haven't worn it once since blind buying it as a kid. Couldn't tell you about the longevity because of that, but I'm sure that's a scent profile that lasts.
When I'm the ripe and grizzled age of... idk, 30? I'll give this one another shot.

My favorite dumb pick blue
A delightfully fresh and approachable blue fragrance that has an undeniable youthfulness to it. To me, it's extremely fitting of the "Polo" branding; sporty and athletic, but most certainly rocking beige slacks.
To a non-fragrance enthusiast such as my girlfriend, it is your generic, typical, bold men's blue cologne. Completely inoffensive, but nothing special. To me, that makes it a very safe, dumb pick for daily wear in the summer, and the pineapple, bergamot, and lavender make it especially appealing to me. I'd go so far as to call it a good blind buy.
It's not as deep or complex as something like Sauvage or Bleu De Chanel, which, in my opinion makes this fragrance a less stuffy, lighter choice for those particularly hot summer days, before going into the very explicit lemon-citrusy territory of D&G's Light Blue, which to me are the go-to notes for scents you know you'll sweat into.
I got the gift set for my dad with the full-sized EDT, a little travel spray, and the little 40ml, which was, quite frankly, a bargain considering it was the price of the full EDT alone. I kept the 40ml for my collection, and might be back to buy the full-sized one.
Lowkey smells like a Wal-Mart after they just mopped. I like that

The word "Cologne" as a cologne
I'll point out my inherent bias, as this was basically my signature fragrance throughout high school.
As the title says, I find this to be just first and foremost what you think of when you hear the word "cologne," Barber shop, sterile clean, aftershave. Any of the complexity and subtler notes of this fragrance come through like the flavor in a can of sparkling water; Vague and subdued, but you can certainly still dig for the pineapple and find it. Other than that, it's quite uniform and doesn't reveal itself on the drydown as any more complex. It may be that my bottle has macerated for a while, but I don't remember it being any more complex or interesting when I wore it regularly. Genuinely served its purpose as the old reliable "COLOGNE" in it's hayday.
Not a bad scent at all, just a little boring. I used it for school and my first job, and for that, it's perfectly fine, but it never received a compliment, and probably because it faded by the time I got there. I won't lie about the sentimental value this scent has, and how nostalgic it makes me, but that won't do the objective fragrance profile any favors.

A lovely, fresh icon
Sweet and fruity, almost going into floral territory. A very nice, appealing, fresh mist that I love to put on for the gym.
Not a very photorealistic cucumber or melon scent, but it retains all of that beautiful, refreshing, almost watery quality despite being a pretty synthetic fruit smell.
Not inherently feminine-leaning, but I think I interpret it that way because my mom would wear this when I was growing up. For that reason alone, nostalgic and lovable, but it also just smells deliciously refreshing.
As most of my "gym fragrances" go, it doesn't last very long. A typical issue for B&BW mists, but for the purposes of an after-shower and gym fragrance, it fits the bill quite nicely.
