The return of a legend

Yes, they did it again. This fragrance transports me be back to the era when Polo Sport Eau de Toilette reigned as the ultimate "blue" fragrance of the 90s and Tommy Hilfiger denim long-sleeve shirts were in-fashion. Yes, way before Bleu de Chanel Eau de Toilette, there was an undisputed "blue" king, a one fragrance for everything kind of scent, showering us with rays of freshness and cleanliness. Now, 30 years later, Ralph Lauren "revives" that iconic "blue" DNA with a modern twist: sweet juicy tropical fruits and woody-aquatic molecules. While as generic as Myslf and Luna Rossa Ocean Eau de Toilette, "Polo est. 67 | Ralph Lauren" is more balanced and far more enjoyable. It outshines every Polo Blue Eau de Toilette, firmly establishing itself as the king of Polo Blues. This is an excellent choice for those who have grown tired of the ubiquitous Aventus, Invictus Eau de Toilette, and Sauvage Eau de Toilette DNAs.

Not bad for what it is

A fragrance I dismissed when I smelled it on tester strip, Polo 67 is actually not too bad. It opens with a really nice juicy fruit note, which I guess is supposed to be pineapple but in actuality smells more "generic fruit" than pineapple specifically. Then the ubiquitous "amber" notes start rearing their ugly head, but in the base they are tempered with a nice smooth sandalwood. My biggest complaint is that this progression happens far too quickly and I would like to have smelled the fruity opening for more than a few seconds upon spraying. Ironically it shares that with another RL fragrance I recently reviewed, Ralph's Club Eau de Parfum whose opening is great, but whose drydown is a lot worse than Polo 67's. All in all, not a bad fragrance for the money; currently (late 2024) it is still quite expensive since it was only released a few months ago, but I am sure it will be on discounters soon enough with the rest of RL's frags for $30-$40 and at that range, it's an OK pickup. I think this would be a great "first fragrance" for a teenager. Even the bottle/labeling gives "back to school" vibes. Inoffensive, great for the classroom or office.

The same but different

While this is not different by any means and some say it’s close to Y myself
It is less synthetic more fruity and a pleasant scent that everyone will either love or either hate. regardless of the reviews it’s something beautiful
This is for the modern man an everyday scent that all women tend to like
It’s safe and pleasant

Somewhere between YSL Y EDP - Myself EDP

Title says it all, I somehow smell a crisp green apple and some orange blossom somehow.
It's also similar enough to Lattafa Fakhar and to be honest, I wouldn't pay 100€ for the whole bottle, since it's just a casual fresh fruity scent without any catch. The scent is fresh fruity and stays for some good time for a fresh scent and sillage is okay. People said that it kinda smells like Bubblegum too.

My favorite dumb pick blue

A delightfully fresh and approachable blue fragrance that has an undeniable youthfulness to it. To me, it's extremely fitting of the "Polo" branding; sporty and athletic, but most certainly rocking beige slacks.

To a non-fragrance enthusiast such as my girlfriend, it is your generic, typical, bold men's blue cologne. Completely inoffensive, but nothing special. To me, that makes it a very safe, dumb pick for daily wear in the summer, and the pineapple, bergamot, and lavender make it especially appealing to me. I'd go so far as to call it a good blind buy.

It's not as deep or complex as something like Sauvage or Bleu De Chanel, which, in my opinion makes this fragrance a less stuffy, lighter choice for those particularly hot summer days, before going into the very explicit lemon-citrusy territory of D&G's Light Blue, which to me are the go-to notes for scents you know you'll sweat into.

I got the gift set for my dad with the full-sized EDT, a little travel spray, and the little 40ml, which was, quite frankly, a bargain considering it was the price of the full EDT alone. I kept the 40ml for my collection, and might be back to buy the full-sized one.

Lowkey smells like a Wal-Mart after they just mopped. I like that
