Mine is Sous le pont Mirabeau - it’s a slow burner and starts like a whisper and then transforms into an aromatic powerhouse. It makes me feel composed and poised.
What is your favorite Etat Libre d’Orange fragrance and why?
Very no frills, basic but sincere:
Attaquer Le Soleil - Marquis de Sade
I'm yet to get properly acquainted with ELDO, so it will be interesting to come back to this thread once I'll have more than 2 frags to choose from... But that said, I found
Jasmin et Cigarette surprisingly enjoyable. Not enough Cigarette for my tastes, but enjoyable nonetheless ദ്ദി ( ᵔ ᗜ ᵔ )
Out of the ones I've tried, my favourite is
Putain des Palaces I'm a sucker for powdery scents and this is so comforting to me, also being a bit raunchy as well.
My favorite is
Like This - it's a very cozy, warm, and naturally sweet fragrance. It's classified as a gourmand, which it is, but it's not a super sweet, dessert-like gourmand. When it was released, I remember reading about how Tilda Swinton wanted the fragrance to evoke the feeling of being home in the warmth of the kitchen. That's what peaked my interest and I think the fragrance coveys that well. The pumpkin note is what really rounds out the scent for me.
Attaquer Le Soleil - Marquis de Sade ...I find it calming and cozy, nothing scandalous despite the name. Just perfect.
And
The Ghost in the Shell. It’s probably my second favorite: unique clean musk, freshly washed, yet warm and comforting.
Mine is
You or Someone like You - it smells like a holiday on the Mediterranean coast
