For me, Meo Fusciuni's Notturno smells exactly like Cemetery Man main character, aka Francesco Dellamorte. It actually applies even better to Dylan Dog (comic series, I refuse to accept that awful movie made some years ago) but DD is heavily based on Dellamorte, and so.
Then I'd probably go with Absinthia from Opus Oils for not a single character, but the pair of Gary Oldman's Dracula/Winona Ryder's Mina. It captures good their scenes.
