Any recommendations for a gourmand fragrance, that also has neroli in it?
Thank you! 😊

I have an obsession with neroli. You are also very gourmet, so I'm not sure what gourmet you are referring to specifically. If I could recommend something, it would be my favorite Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Harvest Nerolia Vetiver . This is a limited edition. It has a bergamot scent that you don't like. However, the scent should actually be called nerolia honey. Vetiver is difficult to detect and almost nonexistent. It seems difficult to obtain and may be a bit risky.
If you want something more friendly, it would have to be a Japanese product, but it's a brand of eau de parfum that mainly uses natural fragrances called KO-GU. It's also hard to obtain. It can be used alone, but it is designed to be layered. The pyramid of the fragrance seems quite typical unisex, but in reality, it felt like a neroli or orange flower candy-like nuance. It is officially recommended, but if you layer it with this brand's vanilla, it will create a gourmand atmosphere. You might also want to layer it with amber. There are also gourmand scents such as banana, coffee and strawberry. I have the caramel, but the scent was so light that I thought it was a joke. However, it did quite recreate the scent of caramel popcorn when I went to the movie theater. This also becomes deeper when layered with vanilla and cinnamon. The only synthetic fragrance in this brand is "musk".

I noticed it yesterday, but you like lemon and I like lime. You don't like neroli, and I do. This seems to be due to the difference in whether you like the "fruity floral nonanal (aldehyde C9)" contained in lemon, or the eucalyptus scented 1,8-cineole, woody germacrene B, and fresh green decanal (aldehyde C10). It's interesting.
@Akira1005 I appreciate your thoughtful, detailed reply! 🙏 I did not have any gourmand notes/profiles in mind when asking for the suggestion - so I'm open to anything gourmand, so long as neroli is also present. 😊 These suggestions both sound excellent, thank you so much!
The bergamots I dislike wearing are the particularly sharp/synthetic ones that seem to be so pervasive in designer fragrances. But I don't mind bergamot when it's fresher, possibly as part of a realistic tea - or when less synthetic feeling, and balanced/blended well with other notes.
I am with you in enjoying lime too, one of my favorites is Coconut Lime Verbena Eau de Toilette (another one to add to your BBW list since you love lime, it's so lovely)! But that is also very interesting about the differences you pointed out in fragrance types!
@Zoekalisa@DRKSHDW thank you both! 🙏 And @DRKSHDW I don't know why I didn't think of Love Don't Be Shy Perfume , I for some reason wasn't remembering the neroli in that one - but you're right!
I don't have the original but LDBS or a dupe of it is an easy recommend. my dupe smells SO sweet. what I'd consider a spinoff of that sort of scent is Fizzy (2006) Eau de Toilette but that's hard to get a hold of, so not a direct recommendation, but would also fit the bill.
@Stachio@MOONTRIPS thank you both so much, I'm sorry I didn't see your responses until now!
Néroli Hasbaya sounds suuuper delicious!
And @MOONTRIPS how would you describe what Fizzy (2006) Eau de Toilette smells like to you (what notes stand out most)?
@Gourmandgrl I get the bergamot and orange blossom the most! it is quite sweet, but an easy wear thanks to the bergamot. the name fits, it's got a strangely refreshing and almost soda-like smell. Almost. something about it really reminds me of Pink Sugar Eau de Toilette or
Soft Eau de Parfum. I'm not the best at explaining. if you've ever got a way to smell it, it's worth a smell!
@MOONTRIPS your scent explanations are great, and I appreciate you weighing in with more context - really helpful, thank you! 😊
Thank you so much @nyedufte , I'll definitely look into it more!

I’m browsing dossier’s website and their original blend Neroli Romance might be worth checking out!
@ssydlo oooh the notes look super good on this, thank you for sharing with me!
