Different Jasmin, absolutely beautiful and unique
Top: Apricot and Bergamot
Middle: Jasmine, Orange Blossom and Rose
Base: Iris
"Indian Sambac Jasmine offers up its more delightful solar facets, forming a scent akin to that of orange blossom" from the brand's website. So there is not Orange Blossom but that kind of note.

I just got this perfume few days ago and I can’t stop wearing it and I can’t stop smelling myself. This will be my easygoing everyday scent which I can pair with every outfit. It may sound boring but it’s not. Actually Jasmine Bonheur is delightfully different Jasmine scent. There is something very old fashioned in it but in a very beautiful way. Apricot is very soft and fragile, not juicy. The scent is a little bit dusty yet full of joy. It’s not like dry make up powdery, it’s rather hazy. It’s really difficult to find a Jasmine scent which makes my husband react like “woooow” but this did it. The longevity is at least one day.

Btw this is not animalic in any kind of way, neither heady. This is classy and beautiful.

I will edit this review after wearing it more.

Pricey Radiance
Jasmine is a favorite note of mine, so I was expecting to like Jasmin Bonheur quite a lot, and I was correct! It is a very solid entry into the L'Art & La Matière collection, although not a particularly groundbreaking or interesting one unfortunately. However, I feel that this fragrance is still worthwhile despite this, as it is one of the most radiant floral fragrances I have smelled in a while. There is nothing cloying, indolic or dark about these jasmine flowers. They're bright, white and fresh, as if they were just picked off of the vine. Combined with a bit of a fruity tinge that comes in the dry down, it creates a cloud of soft, white florals that is easy to enjoy and very easy to wear as well. It's clean, polished and inviting, albeit at quite a steep price point considering that it is a bit of a simpler composition overall. However, those who enjoy jasmine will find this one to be very pleasant and worth a shot at the very least.

Again, while not the shining star of L'Art & La Matière, I believe this fragrance is a very worthwhile one. Florals that are this fresh and easygoing are hard to come by without stepping on toes in some way. Usually florals with a bright personality as this fragrance has either do not perform, or are found to be too strong, but Jasmin Bonheur does not suffer in those regards. Price aside, it is very worth it for the right person.

THE PRETTIEST JASMINE!
Oh, this is so pretty! A "clean girl" jasmine dream. Innocent, fluffy, fruity jasmine, very well done. I often struggle with jasmine because it can lean too soapy, retro, or indolic, but not here. This is a jasmine bomb with many different jasmine facets, yet the result is "sparkling" and natural. It feels airy, with a beautiful apricot note. The apricot also brings a gentle warmth.

Both the apricot and jasmine smell very natural. Once it settles, it softens and smells a bit like shampoo in the best possible way. Just so clean and pure. To me, this is definitely a bright, good-mood spring scent for floral lovers.

It smells like the most beautiful, luminous woman dressed in white. That is the image in my head. I could see this working as a signature scent for someone, or as a bridal scent. This is a classic bridal-style fragrance profile. It is just so delicate, like a softly blushing bride. Stereotypical or cheesy thing to say, maybe, but honestly, that is exactly what it smells like. What can you do?

I would love a bottle of this. It is terribly overpriced, but damn, it's so nice!

Elegant Ladies in a Blooming Garden
For a fragrance from the ‘L’Art et La Matière’ collection, the new Guerlain release Jasmin Bonheur doesn't fare too well here overall. When I received my sharing sample last week, expectations were accordingly lowered.

There was talk of overwhelming indole. Of urinous notes, even. To be honest? I don’t smell that. Either I am just as insensitive to animalic notes in jasmine as I am with musk, or this fragrance is truly a delicate, fine floral scent. That’s how I perceive it. I envision young ladies in their sixties or seventies. I see a blooming garden before me. The ladies are elegantly dressed and smell soapy-fresh, as if they have just enjoyed a bubble bath. They are also subtly made up. No wonder. It’s Sunday. It’s customary to dress nicely.

Spring is here and couldn’t be more beautiful. In the garden, roses are blooming above all. The rose feels almost more dominant in this fragrance than the jasmine. The whole thing comes across as classic, typically Guerlain, very elegant. Iris notes add a subtle powderiness. Above all, there’s a light, very pleasant soapy note wafting. A scent that I could very well imagine in the collection of one of my favorite Italian brands, namely Santa Maria Novella.

Of course, this has all been done somewhere before. I wouldn’t necessarily want to pay the price for a ‘L’Art et La Matière’ bottle here, but all in all, this Jasmin Bonheur is a fine, very beautiful spring fragrance. I’m not familiar with the reference from Lady Gaga mentioned by Chanelle, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there are already one or two similar scents in the designer or even drugstore portfolio.

If I were in the mood for something like this, I would personally prefer Jasmin Majorelle from Le Jardin Retrouvé. It focuses more on the jasmine scent, skips the rose, but also has an iris in tow. And: It’s more affordable.

Many thanks to MissPandalie for the sharing and the testing opportunity.

Blümchen ist enttarnt. Sie heißt Jasmin.
Since there is only one true, yet unmatched jasmine for me, and that is by Serge Lutens, I always find it a bit difficult to want to like jasmine fragrances. I also have reservations about "Art × Fragrance" joint ventures from Guerlain and many others as well. But I want to try to set aside any prejudices and give the scent a fair chance. (In fact, Bouquet de la Reine is also a damn fine Guerlain jasmine.)
Jasmin Bonheur (available as a limited edition in the Matisse look and in the standard version of the current L'Art et Matiere flacons) is an Eau de Parfum. As an Extrait, it is probably called Couleur Bonheur and costs a staggering 14,000 euros/1000ml in the amusingly colorful bee. However, the Eau de Parfum is enough to temporarily narcotize me shortly after spraying. But jasmine sometimes has that effect, so I don't blame it. I have also sat next to a huge jasmine bush on vacation and felt a bit dizzy.
After the minutes-long narcotics overdose, Jasmin Bonheur becomes quite pleasant; the iris comes to the rescue, it becomes "cleaner," almost soapy, and beautifully creamy. Ever creamier. And then Lady Gaga comes in. Not herself, because she must be playing Harley Quinn right now. Although, from a visual standpoint, that would fit the Matisse bottle...but I'm digressing. What is so gaga about the scent - the base is "Fame," the delicious apricot from the House of Gaga, which unfortunately has been discontinued. Sweet, creamy apricot on an iris bed with fading jasmine swirling around it. That sounds nice and smells nice too.
But still too little for this hype.

Clean, white and full. A straightforward jasmine? Study closer and you'll find a fruity note, bit of rose and powdery iris.

Like smelling a flower, putting your nose straight into it. Pistil and stamen, powerfully realistic.
