Woody-amber-spicy cologne
Right from the start this is unique. A cologne as in full of crisp citruses yes, but not just a standard yellow lemon. I get a good quality bergamot and very little acidity or bitterness. Notes of tea, sage and oud add a great complexity to the opening. As the top notes fade, the woods and amber go into overdrive. Frankincense and oud in particular. Their role in the composition is larger than I expected. Nemus seems more an evening cologne than a daytime refresher. Over time the spiciness fades while the core scent of citrus-incense-wood lingers on confidently. The appearance is a tad too masculine for me to wear personally, but I find it an absolutely handsome creation nonetheless. Neela and Bertrand are a golden duo.
