Gorgeous rose soliflore
This one is an ode the complex beauty of roses aroma, a project that was born from a bespoke fragrance and that the perfumer, due the given feedback, decided to launch it before making it more dirty than the name implies. A rose is a flower that works very well inside a soliflore fragrance, but she can go through sour paths that might make her quite difficult to enjoy in its fullness.This doesn't happen here, and it's greener and sour side is found properly controlled, giving space to fruitier tonalities, a waxy side and boozy nuances. This very beautiful rose accord start to me with a sparkling citrus opening with leather nuance. After it, the rose regins supreme in the composition with a beautiful harmony of the aformentioned aspects. This is for me almost an arab inspired perfume, but there is only a slightly suggestion of an oud accord through the cypriol. There is in some moments a slightly iris and saffron shade that give the roses a earthy and powdery side. The woods in any moment steal the scene from the rose, the work more with the labdanum as structural essences, que mixes to carnal and red gorgeous rose to give it a slightly woody ambery color.
