If It Could Last Longer

Green Savage is a fragrance with a refreshing blend of citrus, herbs, and woods. It opens with a mixture of citrus notes, which combine the freshness of lemon with the crispness of green apple. As time passes the aromatic herbs such as lavender and rosemary arise adding a touch of sophistication and depth to the composition. Green Savage settles into a warm and woody scent.

The longevity of Green Savage is moderate, lasting several hours (3-4h) on the skin and the sillage is moderate as well.

A short walk in the forest…

As title says, Zara’s Green Savage reminds me of a short (very) walk in the forest after a small rain. This is a very fresh and clean scent.

The opening is strong but quickly softens up and turns into a calm fresh citrus-woody thing.

I use it mainly at home (gf simply loves it) and sometimes when i go workout.

It has some similarities to Y EDP.

Inoffensive 2 Hours - Ahoi Brause / Sody Pop Lemon

First Impression: Seeing the Ocean-Shore over Green Grass. Pepper, Citric surounded by a light blanket of white musk. All blended very gently and without edges and powdered by white Baby Powder. Is there an Apple? No probably only the Bergamot, but behind it is a slight synthetic sweetness, but never obvoius that you would say "thats sweet".

After the opening: Mens Deodorant, not to woody nor mean, but definitely manly with the slightest tartness. If you smell really really upclose almost digging in and sniffing you get a hint of Ahoi Brause / Sody Pop in Lemon, with its sweetness and slight airy prickle, Powdery white clean musk (that sometimes gives Menthol Vibes), Bergamot barely remaining.

Base: After 1 Hour its a Skinscent. 90% musky, 5% bergamot / Lemon sody pop, 5% powdery
After 2 Hours its gone.

Conclusion: Nobody will dislike this. It has no edges but therefore its also not really memorable.
Maybe good for the Gym or whenever you will be upclose to someone and want a Showergel Safebuy.

This Zara fragrance is underrated

Yes, you do hear the odd Zara fragrance from time to time. Green Savage, on the other hand, is rarely or not at all mentioned, which I think is a shame and can't understand.

For me, who has already tested a number of Zara fragrances, Green Savage is the only one that has made it into my collection and that I really enjoy wearing.

I can't really say exactly what makes the fragrance so special, but it is very pleasant to smell for me and I like to wear it as an everyday fragrance at home (in the home office). 2-3 sprays after showering and you go through the day in a good mood and smelling good.

The durability, easily 6-7 hours, is bombastic for the price (I think I paid €10).

I tested the Channel Allure Homme Sport (edt) a few weeks ago and I immediately thought of the Green Savage.

So for me it's a very good fragrance that deserves to be better known.

Scent of the British Channel Islands

Some time ago, I ordered a whole bunch of Zara fragrances blind, putting together a kind of trial box. In this price range, you don't necessarily have to resort to bottling. Included was the "Green Savage", which is listed by Zara under "Basics".
At the time, I didn't pay much attention to Green Savage, as the case supposedly offered much more exciting fragrances. I only realized that I had underestimated the Green Savage when I studied it more intensively.

The GS has a brief alcoholic start, then the bergamot provides a fresh breeze. This top note is passed through relatively quickly and the lavender emerges, although it is intercepted by the cedar wood in such a way that you don't find yourself in a lavender field.
I associate the GS with a lush, freshly mown meadow in the sunshine, with slightly salty air, as I would locate it on a British island.

The GS can be sprayed on generously, as its sillage is rather restrained. It soon becomes somewhat stronger than close to the skin, but lasts an astonishingly long time (6-7 hours).
I see GS less as a summer fragrance. Spring and fall suit it best. It can be worn all day, I like it best as a morning freshener.
With Green Savage, you get a quieter, green fragrance that never comes across as herbaceous and creates a warmer mood in the DD. It is not a poser. It gives the wearer a feeling of fresh cleanliness. You might not want to wear it every day, but sometimes it's just right-beautiful. Not a "must-have", but a very "nice-to-have".
