Interesting Facts
The dream of their own perfume - the married couple Ursula and Christian Lengling have made it come true. Their base note is the office in Gräfelfing near Munich. They live just around the corner. Ursula is the heart note of the company, the creative designer. She also writes the lyrical texts, matching the soul of the fragrances. As a businessman, Christian Lengling is the headnote of the company. Both have previously worked in the perfume business.
All fragrances are inspired by a feeling, a memory or a longing and tell a story. One and a half years pass from the idea to the finished product.
The compositions follow their own new fragrance concept. The classic fragrance pyramid is replaced by two contrasting fragrance chords - the ling and the ling. The Munich-based company thus deliberately evokes associations with yin and yang. Christian Lengling was born in Japan, where his father worked for a cosmetics company. Even with the choice of names for their creations "eisbach" and "sekushi," the Lenglings create a reference to Munich or Japan.
On the skin, ling and ling play with each other and merge into a larger whole. Ambivalence here does not mean two irreconcilable poles that are hostile to each other. Beauty and harmony emerge from the balance of contrasts.
Its designation as Munich's first perfume manufactory already says that work is still done by hand here. The credo of the small Munich company is to create a total work of art. The ingredients are qualitatively exquisite and vegan. Attention is paid to sustainability. The flacons are filled by hand. In their simple form, they evoke reminiscences of Japan. The closure symbolizes an Isarkiesel and each is individually polished by hand. The glossy brand is made of satin. Each champagne-colored box comes with a personal greeting. It is made in Munich - exactly where it is a secret. The paper comes from Gmund on the Tegernsee. Only the flacons are made in France.
In April 2018, the Munich-based company won the German Perfume Award Duftstars 2018 in the Artistic Independent Perfume category with its ninth symphony, "wunderwind."
The niche fragrances are now also available in some exclusive stores abroad. All fragrances are unisex.

"In Between" - a cold flatterer
How something cool can be so flattering is the perfumer's answer with "In Between". Peach often squeaks as a fragrance note, but here it comes across as very cool and fruity and yet not unripe or diluted. Sometimes white wine is characterized...

Since when has the Eisbach been sticky?
Disclaimer first: I was born and live in Munich, so the evaluation of the fragrance may be influenced by the name.
