Where Have the Flowers Gone?
I snagged a bottle of this fragrance at TK for a mere €16 yesterday and bought it blind. Just looking at the fragrance description printed on the outer box left me puzzled, considering the name "Glam Flower." According to the box, it primarily contains orange and bergamot oil as well as vetiver, with no trace of glamorous flowers! With the name "Glam Flower," I certainly associate a lavish floral bouquet that might only shine in the evening because it feels too stuffy during the day.
Good for me that I'm always up for fresh scents, because that's exactly what this fragrance is; in the top notes, it becomes almost aquatic-fresh on my skin - definitely unisex! According to the manufacturer, the top notes consist of citrus notes, which I, however, do not detect.
After a few minutes, vetiver comes to the forefront very prominently, surrounded by minimal floral notes and pleasantly harmonized by patchouli.
In the base, vetiver takes a bit of a backseat, while musk and vanilla become more noticeable, providing a well-groomed, clean-creamy finale.
A lovely, albeit very fleeting fragrance, of which hardly anything remains after three hours. In my opinion, it can be worn by any gender, as it strikes a good balance between seemingly feminine and masculine scent notes.
