Damn Rebel Witches - 4160 Tuesdays
Opens with creamy hazlenut and a little orange zest, not too sweet.
The orange zest fades as it dries down to the slightly boozy, earthy woods and brown leather of the mid notes. 'Twigs' is pretty apt for the wood here, it's outdoorsy and a little delicate.
Later on and we're out of the woods, a sweetish, whiskey flavoured rolling tobacco becomes the most noticable.
The hazlenut is there throughout, just less prominant as it goes on.
This is a skin scent that doesn't project further the more you spray it.
24h wear time (at least) over a heavy moisturiser, with the caveat that I got quite trigger happy with the sprayer yesterday and also topped it up a few times over the day by spraying my clothes.
It's the following morning now and this has the same projection as it did yesterday and it's still a gorgeous skin scent that I have to stick my nose into the crook of my arm to be able to smell.
If I'd bought this at full price, this review probably wouldn't be so positive, but as it's being discontinued and I picked up a 100ml bottle for £60, I'm more than happy with it.
And who knows, maybe it'll eventually get a bit stronger now that it's being used and living in my dark perfume cupboard.
