Cozy in a Bottle
This opens with tea and a very light citrus, just enough to add a bit of zing but not enough to be sour. The tea is nice- not at all dry, dusty or bitter. It's a great cuppa, with just a light twist of lemon.

The top notes don't last very long before fading into a very soft, nutty, lactonic gourmand. I love, love, love the use of oat milk here, as it not only brings the sweet, lactonic accord, but it enhances, rather than swallows, the pastry and grain notes are at the heart of the heart, so to speak.

HT&B is rather linear on me, the vanilla being present after the top notes fade, which I don't mind at all, but when it fades down to a skin scent, before disappearing entirely, the oatmilk is gone, and I'm left with a lovely, not-too-sweet vanilla pastry. My one complaint about the scent itself is I cannot perceive any ginger at all. #@%& skin chemistry.

Still, I really like this a lot. It reminds me of winter breakfasts with my mom and mornings with my husband, who maintains, with almost religious zeal, the idea that daily oatmeal breakfasts allow him to eat as much of anything he likes during the rest of the day.

More seriously, this fragrance is the epitome of coziness- warm, creamy and familar. The longevity is good, 6 hours in very cold, dry weather. The projection/sillage is quite light but there is still a perceptible scent bubble for several hours. To me, HT&B is unisex but leans a bit femme, though I think a lot of men would love it. I think this fragrance is perfect for all ages and would be appropriate for formal events, work/school, fun nights or hanging out at home.

Yum!!!
This smells like grainy and wheaty biscuits with roasted hazelnuts, warm vanilla, and smoky black tea. It opens with a soft and buttery lemon paired with a creamy oat milk. You get hints of a smoky black tea but it gets enveloped by a nutty and dry roasted hazelnut smell paired with that grainy biscuit aroma, with a sheer layer of sweetness from a light vanilla. To me this is a predominantly flaky pastry biscuit esque scent with a cup of black tea with a heavy dose of oat milk. This is beautifully warm, toasty, cozy, and the perfect level of sweet.

The nicest British afternoon tea
I absolutely love it when indie perfume houses create beautiful and whimsical works of art that smell great. I’m reminded a bit of Dear Polly by Vilhelm which is another great black tea perfume.
As someone who regularly drinks black tea with oatmilk (I’m lactose intolerant) ever since I moved to England 2 years ago, this fragrance hits close to home. But it feels like a posh tea you would have at a cafe in central London. As an American I know all too well that ‘biscuits’ refers to cookies in UK parlance and not the biscuits you eat with gravy. The touch of honeyed lemon reminds me of other gourmands like Lira, Poets of Berlin, and Bake but I love this best of all. The lemon in this is more gentle rather than astringent or too sweet. And the wheaty pancake note is so photorealistic! I will see how long my precious 30 ml bottle lasts me and I will hopefully stock up on a larger size.

Remarkable cozy gourmand
This fragrance is absolutely remarkable. Of the lemon-vanilla scents I’ve actually sampled, this is the only one that I’ve been blown away by.

This smells exactly how it sounds: tea & biscuits. It smells like having an English Breakfast Tea (which is a type of black tea) with a side of lemon biscuits, at a cafe near one of the many stop along the Hammersmith & City underground stations in London. And I mean the British type of biscuits (I.e. cookies). It’s sweet, bright, slightly aromatic, slightly wheat-y, and soft. It’s absolutely delectable. I don’t consider myself a gourmand girl by any means just because I don’t always want to smell like sweets & sugar. But this has quickly become one of my holy grail fragrances. I’ve never smelled anything like it and it was truly love at first sniff.

Now the performance on this one shocked me a bit because as soft and subtle this is, it lasts a very long time on skin and clothes. And the silage is quiet, but definitely present. I wore it to work the other week and even after two or so hours, it’s was leaving noticeable trails. While I was with a patient, a man came into the exam room and asked to check the sharps container. Upon leaving, he said, “damn it smells good in here!”. I tend to go noseblind to a lot of my frags, so garnering that reaction while wearing this made me love it even more. It’s not offensive at all and can be worn wherever and whenever.

This is my first from the house and it makes me very excited to try more fragrances from them. I’d love to visit an actual store in London whenever I decide to go back and visit. Absolute 10/10 perfume that I think more people should know about.

Lemon ginger shortbread & Darjeeling tea
This smells like the transition from summer to autumn. It’s citrusy and light enough for summer wear, but I think shines the best in Autumn/ Spring. Oaty lemon ginger cookies and Darjeeling tea with a splash of oat milk. The ginger adds a subtle warmth that just pulls it all together, the nuttiness adds a flaky pastry quality, and some days there’s a pancake quality to it.

Graham crackers with sweetened citrus tea. Grainy in texture, with a creamy counterpoint. Nice.

Realistic sweet milky tea supports prominent biscuit note. Biscuit also strikes me as fairly realistic; it is grainy and nutty.

Completely linear, unspectacular, and unnecessarily often copied sugar cookie with roasted notes and a hint of butter. I find this ...

Homemade whole grain nut cookies with oats. Paired with black tea with ginger and lemon. Authentic. Crumbly like my first ones too.

More lemon cookie than tea. Unfortunately, the tea is a bit lacking for me, but it's still cozy-sweet for the cold season!

My favorite from the Confectionary Taster Set. Authentic black tea with lemon, with cookie & hazelnut. Delicious but wearable!

Top note: Wonderful fluffy lemon cream, then the chocolate cookie comes in and pushes it down to the hazelnuts.

Dipped butter cookie in sugary-milky black tea. Very sweet and authentic! For pastry scent fans! :-) Unfortunately, too buttery and milky for me.
