Pleasant, realistic orange tree, aptly named
4160 Tuesdays The Orange Tree is the delightfully realistic scent of an orange plant—fresh, green, tart, and fruity. Its key notes are mostly centered around the orange plant itself, fittingly: orange flower, sweet orange, mandarin, clementine, blood orange, petitgrain, and woods. I definitely get the petitgrain note, its heartiness anchoring the other various components of the orange. It feels full and complete, though, from roots to fruit.

The Orange Tree is a bit like the orange zest / icy citrus concept I’ve seen in other fragrances, but done much more effectively, conjuring the actual plant rather than a recreation of a synthetic food item of sorts. Zara’s Orange Zest does this reasonably well for the price but does not really compare to The Orange Tree in terms of quality.

It performs modestly, so not nearly as well as most of the darker creations, but that’s to be expected with its note breakdown. While I do love a super-strong fresh fragrance, the goal, I feel, in a fragrance like The Orange Tree is authenticity, and in that respect, it’s a great success.

I do not believe that it is yet available at US retailers but should be at some point in the future, I imagine. I certainly recommend trying a sample or ordering one from your next haul from the main site, as The Orange Tree would nicely complement any collection.

Honestly, the best, most realistic orange (mandarin) fragrance I've ever smelled. Instant mood lifter!

Fascinating how you initially feel surrounded by citrus fruits, and then a metallic-clean floral-wood robot comes around the corner.

NOW that's what I call bitter orange to my taste! Fresh and really fruity with plenty of acidity. Far from cuddly sweet oranges, which °°°

The top note reminds me of orange cleaner, then it quickly softens, becoming floral before fading into a hint of wood.

Juicy, fresh, orange-fruity, a bit green, but overall the scent doesn't feel very natural. Still, the fragrance has its strengths.

A fresh, crisp orange is peeled. Very authentically orangey, not too sweet, rather a bit green, fresh & herbal. Fresh orange peel.

Orange waterfall. Bitter and herbaceous the peel, juicy and fresh the flesh. Plus soapy orange blossoms.

Beam me to the orange groves of the Turkish Riviera. Just picked + straight to the press: fresh, tangy, zesty orange juice.

The most beautiful summer refreshment you can imagine. Pure orange in all its facets. Fruity-bitter, only slightly floral, not sweet. Amazing!
