Agent Provocateur N°3
Agent Provocateur Eau Emotionelle was among the first 3 fragrances I got to know from this lingerie brand. I can no longer remember exactly whether the agent Provocateur or Maitresse was the first one I had. The Eau Emitionelle must have been the third in the group. It's been about five years since I bought it. And just as long no comment has been written about this fragrance, so time will come!
The Eau Emotionelle is actually quite similar to the "original" agent Provocateur, also in the fragrance pyramid. With the Eau Emotionelle it has been extended with some ingredients like the wine yeast (no idea how it smells!), pink pepper, rosemary, as well as osmanthus and white tea.
Nevertheless, Eau Emotionelle smells overall a little softer and lighter than the big sister.
The coriander takes itself back here a little and leaves pink pepper for it the lead.
Nevertheless it is altogether a spicy-flowery smell, classically breathed on so that surely also older ladies would like to wear it, thus age-moderately from young, if one has such smell preferences and does not only like sugar-sweet up to open I would say.
The base is musky, slightly animalistic, that's what I love. Amber is discreetly present and gives a slight warmth.
He's not quite as intense as his big sister, who I like even better. Although the Eau Emotionelle is also very good and I like it very much.
The bottle again has the typical egg-shaped hand grenade shape. Instead of old-pink, this bottle is pale pink, slightly transparent with a delicate net-shaped pattern, which is supposed to represent delicate lace or fishnet stockings. The black ribbon on the "neck" is also made of lace instead of leather.
If I had to make a decision, I would probably choose the predecessor, but this one also has its advantages, for example it is more suitable for everyday use. It's probably also a matter of taste which one prefers. Both are beautiful, great scents and the brand Agent Provocateur stands out anyway positively from the mainstream area and offers really beautiful appealing scents with level and class.
