Summer Feeling at Minus Degrees
Today I was gifted Solaris (thank you again dear secret Santa) and since I have had it on my wish list for a long time, I had to test it immediately. Done and done.
Immediately, a citrusy freshness spreads. Wonderful. The grapefruit takes center stage and stays there. Throughout, you can excellently smell the grapefruit. After a while, the peach peeks through slightly. But it remains a grapefruit scent. Perhaps a bit synthetic but still very good. Delicious!
I close my eyes and suddenly I am lying on the beach, enjoying the sun and sipping a pink cocktail with delight. Wonderful. I open my eyes again and there is a plate of delicious Christmas cookies in front of me. Okay, it’s just before Christmas and gingerbread is currently more appealing to me than grapefruit.
Nevertheless, Solaris is a great (summer) scent. The sillage and longevity are impressive. The whole living room smells of grapefruit and even after a few hours, the strength has hardly changed. Impressive!
Solaris is now enjoying its well-deserved winter sleep and will be awakened in time for spring.
