A Dense Forest in a Bottle
I was certainly not expecting the scent of a deep, dense forest whenever I opened this bad boy up.

The best way to describe this fragrance is a humid forest, the wood is saturated with the moisture in the air, and the green envelops you into a completely natural world, so foreign yet so familiar. The scent of the forest floor and a whiff of sweet sap seeping out of a redwood tree somewhere nearby. Honey long dried on a tree next to you, seems as if the hive had abandoned long ago, and the honey is the last remaining sign that this was once a place those bees called home. Mysterious, quiet, but the stillness is somehow so loud in this forest

Incredibly earthy and familiar, yet foreign and alien in a special way!
Definitely unisex, but leans more towards a comforting older male figure.

Wow, this is awful
It smells exactly like turpentine to me, I read a bunch of reviews and some people claimed it changed over time so I left it on for about an hour and a half on a spot on the back of my hand, which tingled strangely the entire time.. I have no clue who thinks this smells nice.. after an hour and a half and developing a mild headache from sniffing it repeatedly, I finally washed it off.

It had faded a tiny amount and you could start to tell there was some kind of wood scent buried beneath the paint stripper but it still smelled strongly of turpentine to me, I don't care if this transforms into the nicest smelling wood in the world after it fades down (which some people claim it does), you'd have to spend hours smelling exactly like you've gone mad and soaked yourself in turpentine first, I might put some on a test strip and see if it ever changes but it's never going back on my skin in a million years

I think the underlying wood smell is vaguely like freshly cut wood like you'd find in a lumber yard, I don't get any kind of sweetness or honey from it though it's listed as one of the notes, I just cannot stress enough that for the few hours I had this on it smelt exactly like paint stripper. I've seen reviews of people saying it's a strong oud smell and I have a few oud's, like Tom Ford Oud Wood, Creed Royal Oud, Ameer Al Oud Intense etc and none of them smell remotely like this. It's a powerhouse for projection and longevity (I could still smell it after I tried washing it off with soap and water). I also have no idea why it was so tingly on the back of my hand other than maybe I was psyching myself out thinking I had just actually rubbed turpentine all over my skin.

It is by far the worst scent I own out of a collection of about a hundred.

Powerhouse Oud!
Another good oud fragrance from Al-Rehab. This is stronger and less sweet than Sultan Al Oud by the same company, the honey note tempers the woody sharpness only the slightest bit. Some reviews have called it medicinal, but it is this deep rich 'earthiness' that characterizes the oud scent for me. A few have said it has a strong chemical smell, but I don't get anything that remotely resembles a chemical odor. These Arabian oil fragrances are quite strong and long lasting, a few drops give me a scent that lasts all day. Dehn Al Oud is great by itself as a predominantly oud fragrance, but I also enjoy layering it with other perfumes and/or essential oils to create different scents too. It's very enjoyable however you decide to wear it!

Dependent on the skin?
When you sift through the comments in English-speaking forums, this perfume oil seems to evoke mixed opinions. Videos also present different views. Some describe it as dark, while others mention beeswax.

I was really looking forward to the scent. The name "Dehn Al Oud" already sounds like a perfume oil that can only surprise positively. I expected a dark and strong oud fragrance. But unfortunately, my expectations were not met at all. On the roller itself, I have the feeling that it smells like liquor.
And even on the skin, at first, a liquor accord can be detected, until shortly after, a beeswax aroma unfolds. At least, that’s what I think I can smell. And I don’t perceive anything more.

Also, longevity and sillage are weak. After just 30 minutes, I can press my nose to my forearm and smell absolutely nothing.

Very disappointing. I don’t want to smell like beeswax. Maybe it behaves better on my girlfriend's skin.

Definitely a heady and heavy fragrance, a dense, wet forest with a story to tell. Definitely a risky blind buy, incredibly unique fragrance

This smelt like a 'grow your own mushroom kit'. Quite nice layered under other oils.

Reminds me church incense. Not sweet, very woody. It wakes you up and gives you focus! Relaxing for me, for others might be horrid.

Oud is dark and woody, but there's a fresh camphor-like note that I really like. Hopefully more projection in warmer temperatures.

Fragrance oil: Phew, that one was really not for me. A spicy olfactory hammer that reminded me of a kind of snuff tobacco.
