Baraonda Vibes Ole
The God Father is clearly based on the Baraonda by Nasomatto. I'm a fan of the Baraonda and The God Father also does its job really well and is really very close to the original.
We have a wonderfully pleasant and beautiful whiskey fragrance here.
The whiskey is also visited by totally fine sweetish impressions and a pleasant spiciness.
The fragrance starts with a wonderful whiskey note.
It is slightly spicy, pleasantly alcoholic, very slightly smoky and a little nutty.
In addition, we have this totally finely balanced sweetness. This interplay works brilliantly.
Over time, the whiskey becomes more gentle, softer and more elegant. This whiskey accord in this fragrance simply has that certain something. In my personal impression, it even has an almost cocoa-like quality to it.
The fragrance also gains woody elements over time. The sweetish touch also intensifies more and more.
Compared to Baraonda, I find this fragrance a tick more spicy, but the differences are really not that great. In addition, with Baraonda I had the occasional feeling of perceiving a very soft rose, but I didn't get that impression here.
In addition, the sweetness of The God Father came a tick later.
