Awesome tobacco fragrance with super performance

Hafez 1984 has an unusual opening. I don't know if I'd call it repulsive. It just ain't good. The first thing that came to mind was as if someone made tobacco brownies or tobacco cake. Luckily, it only lasts about 5 minutes. After that, I was in heaven. Awesome tobacco fragrance with a touch of sweetness and really nice vanilla, booze and earthiness. Very masculine scent.

Performance is spectacular. Strong sillage and projection while longevity for me was excellent at 12 hours. Definitely getting a bottle of this one. Also very versatile - understanding that it is strong. Would even work on warm summer nights. It's so good.

Highly recommended if you like tobacco fragrances. Note that Hafez 1984 is not a dupe but an original creation by Alexandria.

straight to my ‘Love’ list

I sprayed my wrist and this is a manly scent for sure. I was struck with a gorgeous opening with tobacco, patchouli, rum and spices but as the fragrance dries down the booze and spices disappear and leaves a strong tobacco with hints of patchouli and some traces of vanilla. Not as amazing as the opening but still awesome enough to deserve a spot on my ‘Love’ list.

This was a blind buy based on the note breakdown and it didn’t disappoint, I think Hany should focus on the original creations and get rid of the ‘clone house’ label.

I got the new bottle and it looks great compared to previous cheap looking version, kudos with the new presentation

Update: Wore it last night and longevity is very very good. On the dry down I got some oud like feel and at a certain point some chocolate vibe, I know they aren't notes that are actually in Hafez 1984 but I kind a felt them for a moment there. Spray carefully, spray lightly cause this stuff is strong

The Uncommon Tobacco~Rum

At first, one can perceive an intense and powerful sweet fruity note that exudes the scent of a very fresh, perfectly harvested green apple, beautifully balanced by a fine ethereal light aromatic soft spicy note, and I suspect the use of 'nutmeg'.

At the same time, these two notes are underlined by a fine smoothly elegant nuance that smells of black leather, bestowing a pleasant noble aura to the opening, and I perceive 'saffron'.

A little later, the fragrance components I suspect merge with a note that was already well perceptible at the beginning, revealing an incredibly dense note that, to me, smells of light 'pipe tobacco', enveloped by a slightly lovely balsamic, creamy spicy nuance, giving the fragrance a captivating aura, and I consider the use of 'osmanthus' to be possible.

The entire fragrance composition is enveloped by a gradually more noticeable voluminous sweet alcoholic, liqueur-like deep dark woody note, which lends the fragrance something extraordinary, and I tip towards the dark Captain Morgan 'rum'.

In the last 4 hours, the fragrance is led to a pleasant soft smooth conclusion by an intense sweet earthy note of 'patchouli', which carries subtle lovely creamy aspects of 'bourbon vanilla'.

Overall, the fragrance lasts 11.5 hours on my skin.

The sillage is designed to be very noticeably perceptible at 5 meters for the first 3 hours and at a very noticeably perceptible whole arm's length for 3 hours, before it gradually diminishes in slow steps until the fragrance fades.
