AGFragrance
Good "Dupe", but ....
The scent is good, smells like Dior Elixir, the difference is really only noticeable when compared, but it bothers me a little. But no question, good fragrance.
I find Dior Elixir a bit better.
Longevity: The scent lasts long. I think there would hardly be a difference between the Elixir from Dior.
Sillage, or the perception of presence, did disappoint me a bit. Okay, I have to say I had huge expectations and waited 1 month for the delivery.
In any case, it must be said that whether from Dior or Alexandria, both fragrances have incredible longevity and above-average sillage, but with the scent from Alexandria, the sillage is significantly worse on my skin type. Dior lasts several hours for me, sometimes even until the next morning, roughly speaking 5-10 hours, maybe even more, and the Elixir from Alexandria is less perceptible after 2-3 hours than the original. I also find the Elixir from Dior stronger. But I emphasize both are strong, but I really wanted Dior Elixir because I wanted the strongest and most aggressive scent, and something like Alexandria isn't enough for me. I thought about it and give it 7/10 because this is supposed to be an Elixir and also a dupe of Dior Elixir, which is known for its intense scent, so it should be rated accordingly. So, these 7/10 points can't be compared with other fragrances that might only be an EDT.
Bottle: Who cares, let's be honest.
Price-performance: that's also the reason why I criticize this, so for €108 this is not a dupe where I say, "It's a good dupe." It is a very expensive "dupe," if you can still call it a dupe for that price. So definitely a good price, but for me, Dior Elixir is better. Now the question is whether this is worth €50 more to me?
I've been thinking about the answer for 1-2 days.
