Middle Earth
If Middle Earth were a real place, this might be the smell of elves hanging out there while smoking sweet tobacco. This is a beautifully complex, long-lasting fragrance that is amazing as it is all-natural. It smells very earthy and somehow has a mossiness about it, although I don't see moss listed as a note anywhere. But it smells like fertile earth. There is cocoa here, and I do smell it, but it's not a chocolate-y, gourmand fragrance in any way. Gorgeous stuff! I adore this house. Sillage is great, and so is longevity, I give them both 9/10.

Deeply Arrived in One's Own Core
I have often ordered this fragrance as a sample and always liked it - then the vanilla or lavender scent would take precedence. But now it has been ordered!!!
For me, it is a scent experience that grounds me, allowing my personal roots to grow deep into the earth and also into the cosmos. It has something beautifully warm that wraps around me like two protective arms, a bit green and friendly that greets me positively in the morning after the first spray. It lasts significantly longer than the beautiful vanilla scent. If you know Tanja's fragrance philosophy, you know that very special perfumes are at work here and not commercial "everyday types," sorry for the expression. The Earth Star stays with me all day and changes little - which I really like, it keeps rising to my nose again and again. It is my personal protection - with the motto... don’t come too close, I am charged with positive energy. I am not an esoteric person, but I find that this scent totally grounds me, I feel at peace within myself, and it brings a kind of inner peace. Can’t we all use something like this in today’s time??? Yes!!!
As a little tip from me - a spray of the fine vanilla scent on top and you will experience a whole new and daring experience. The earthy-woody scent begins to dance, becoming slightly sweet and cozy - beware, the gentlemen are now moving closer to us wonderful beings.
The prices for 30 ml of perfume are not cheap, but for me, they are worth every recommendation. It’s a pity that the scents can only be ordered online - I would love to test them out in person. It is a true enrichment to have this kind of fragrance - I gladly forgo the €350 new expensive blogger scent that is found in almost every "world of the rich and beautiful." I don’t want to speak ill of any scent here; everyone must decide for themselves what is important to them and whether they value individuality.

Tarte may as well be Tarte
A strange accord somewhere between magnolia, peanut butter, chanterelle foam soup, and furniture polish opens - and catches me completely off guard. What is this? Within a minute or two, the overall picture rounds out, but it doesn't become pleasant. On the contrary, it remains quite bitter, and I can only guess that a wrinkled forehead tobacco is lurking here, as I don't sense any sweet coumarin absolute à la Neuffer. The so-called cocoa (apparently from the patchouli corner) is quiet, but characteristically quite distinct. It offers the utmost unsweetness, is dark and oily, almost sour.

Apparently, 'Erdenstern' is a test of my trust: Although it shouldn't be, the (presumably it is) amber-ambrette number comes across as artificial to me. Or like slightly rancid powder for vegetable broth. Difficult.

Almost two hours pass before a kind of cream develops that brings me more joy. Bitter, with downright powdery tendencies; I can also chuckle over the remaining fragments of peanut butter and soup. I'm sure "out there" no one smells it.

Serving as a base is a compact foundation of our cocoa-patchouli, bitter-spicy tobacco, and if you like, vetiver. Probably the latter (at least by now and at least also) is responsible for the nutty impression. Additionally, I ponder a hint of vanilla that might contribute something to the amber theme. But above all, our 'Erdenstern' now comes as a mild yet grippy vetiver creature with a touch of resin/smoke. More earth than star, this has already been well put. From midday onwards, the sillage noticeably decreases, and after about six hours, the scent surprisingly dissolves into a sweet-creamy whisper.

"Plant-based amber accord" is what it says in the description. I don't think it smells like amber - and that doesn't bother me at all. I've never understood why there are all these vegan substitute schnitzels or sausages, for example. A passionate meat eater wouldn't make a kohlrabi out of ground meat.

To stay in the picture - as a conclusion: Ms. Bochnig's gardener-et-al tart does not suit my taste, but it may as well simply be tart.

I thank Serenissima for the sample.

It was as if the vetiver
had weakly kissed the earth,
making it pale and anti-aromatic
completely unaware of the stars.

The prickly star with the black cigar got filled up with chocolate liqueur and crashed into the earth at midnight.

Subtle yet distinctive: warm, spicy, smoky - like a whisky. In the drydown, powderiness, moderate sweetness, a hint of vetiver: elegant scent!

From the earth hole straight to the gentlemen's club: tobacco and whiskey in leather chairs, and the conversations reach for the stars. Pleasant, unique, unisex.

Vetiver, herbal and bitter. Later, there's also the impression of crushed fresh plants. Absolutely not for me.

Unfortunately, the vetiver has overwhelmed everything. :-( Very fresh, slightly woody, and medium green.

Spicy whiskey cocoa, sweetly smoky, resinous gourmand. Contradictory, exciting, great!
