Nostalgic Summer
On fist sniff, I'm transported back to my teenage years. My grandmother had grapefruit trees and she'd make grapefruit juice at home. This smells to me like slicing into a grapefruit that is not quite ripe. You get the fresh burst of the fruit and also a little bitterness from the peel. It's very citrussy and fresh. The drydown for me is a little softer, more floral. But it takes me back to spending summer evenings with friends on the beach and taking deep gulps of the grapefruit juice I brought from home. I'm going to do a full wear test over a few days and see how it evolves.
