finally a Cloud for me!

I strongly disliked the original Cloud because the lavender plus the musk made that 'signature' BR540 bandaid smell that turns my stomach. With the adjustment toward pineapple top notes and a swap from whipped cream to praline and moss in the base, this is way more my style. I'm stoked that this flanker makes Cloud something I can wear and enjoy instead of going 'eugh...' every couple minutes of the weartime. AG frags are all good, and I think this small adjustment to a winner was smart marketing - they've got me buying Cloud now, without much change.

ETA: after wearing for a year, this definitely veers more to the praline, and I'm missing the pineapple top notes. I probably won't repurchase but this is still my favorite of the Cloud line.

Sweeter - maybe a tad too sweet for me

This flanker I have to be in the mood for. It's fruitier and sweeter than the original, but that also means on my skin, it's sweeter with a stronger sillage. I do like it, but it doesn't warm up and soften on my skin the way the original does. I'm satisfied with owning the rollerball size of this, whereas I have the bottle for the OG. Cloud Pink reads more youthful and is less versatile than the original, but if you like the original, this one won't disappoint.

What you see is what you get

Cloud Pink really smells like a pink, berry-infused version of Ariana Grande's original Cloud. I guess almost everyone on this site has smelled Cloud at some point, but if you're one of the few that haven't, it's a sweet, creamy scent that has a certain crunchy sugar note to it and a cooling top note that is advertised as lavender, but smells minty and kind of like a dentist's office to me.

All that is also true for Cloud Pink.
The difference is that it's even creamier than its older sister, as it carries a bit of the same musky DNA of Ariana's Mod fragrances with it. And, of course, the additional fruit notes! I'm not so sure about dragon fruit and pineapple, they might add a little tropical cocktail vibes, but they aren't that prominent. But the berries are! They smell like a mixture of strawberry and raspberry, so they really evoke reddish and pink tones to make this fragrance fit the name and packaging.
Compared to the OG Cloud, this one has a bit less of the crunchy, metallic Baccarat Rouge 540 DNA. It's even girlier and cuter, especially in the beginning.

I think this fragrance profile is a bit overdone in general, there are already too many perfumes that smell like Cloud or BR540 on the market. But as I always enjoyed the sweet and creamy takes on it much more than the woodsy and smokey ones, I honestly think this is a great version. I slightly prefer it over Cloud.

Better version of "Cloud"

Cloud pink is my little favourite of the collection, not only because the bottle is hella cute, but because it's THAT good.

If you hated cloud, I highly recommend to try this one instead, "Cloud" was very plasticy and synthetic, and super strong to my nose. Not only that, but it has that "baccarat rouge" dna that I hate so much.

Idk why but I get a cakey vibe from it, it's also quite tropical and way more gourmand and pleasant. The dry down has a closer aspect to "cloud", but only after many hours, but still remains way better.

It stays the best one in my opinion !

Childhood Snacktime

This smells like very distinct childhood memories I have of playing in the nursery at church. We would always get a little snack and that usually consisted of either graham crackers or vanilla wafer cookies with apple juice, and this smells EXACTLY like the cookies and crackers. It's sweet and I'm also getting faint hints of Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum and I find it wears close to the skin for me and I do like it! This is the first Ariana Grande fragrance I've actually tested on myself and I can see where people come from when they say the Cloud line smells a little juvenile but I do get the hype behind her fragrances!
