Better than the OG
This is sweeter and creamier than the first one in my opinion. The heart notes are the most prominent on me. I get a lot less lavender and bergamot, when I first spray it, it smells like pear and whipped cream instead. Love it for the colder months, but great for all year round. This is what I was expecting the first one to be like.

Skips the top and goes for the base
My impressions after the first day of wear…

As a fan of OG Cloud, I rushed to get my bottle of Cloud Intense. I wasn’t unhappy with the OG, but I was super curious to smell the new version that promised more of the good stuff. It did deliver more creaminess alright. Perhaps better silage, too. But it lost some important things along the way.

Namely: I no longer sense the sparkly top notes which provide a nice contrast and counterbalance to the base making me appreciate the base more. I can no longer detect bergamot or much pear at all. I feel like the fragrance skips a step or two and goes straight to base.

The other thing that was lost in the Intense version is powdered sugar among the heart notes. Am I the only one who smells it in the OG?

All in all, Intense is still gorgeous, delicious and worth the money, but it made me appreciate the original version more.

Creamy Coconut Cloud
Review number 7 is dedicated to Cloud 2.0. Actually a fragrance marketed towards women, but to my nose, the cloud also works as a unisex scent, provided that a man enjoys sweet fragrances. I became aware of this scent because I was looking for an alternative to JPG's Le Beau Le Parfum (without pineapple) and not because I was looking for an alternative to BR540. I am not familiar with the latter fragrance, so I can't make any comparisons here.
So, I was in search of a sweeter coconut scent, more suitable for the evening hours with a bit more punch (than Le Beau EDT). I found it in Ariana Grande's Cloud 2.0 EDP or Intense.

Admittedly, the bottle with its cloud-shaped holder clearly targets younger women, but it is noticeably heavier and more valuable than I expected. The cap, however (also in cloud shape), is made of rather cheaper plastic. The spray nozzle is okay, not among the best, but also not among the worst. Considering that you can get the whole package with 100ML EDP for under fifty bucks, that's acceptable. Because what really matters is the perfume itself. And here I only have good things to report:

Upon spraying, freshness and sweetness hit me. So intense that it almost has a medicinal (alcoholic?) touch. In fact, I can't identify any of the mentioned notes in the opening, as everything is too overwhelming. It's somehow too much, but also kind of great. After a few minutes, however, that immediately settles down. The freshness and the medicinal aspect fade, revealing sweet coconut-vanilla-cream-cotton candy (what a word).

This probably sounds like you would immediately die from a sugar shock and that it's all heavy and cloyingly sweet. Rest assured: it is not. It is sweet, but not too sweet, because it is rather light and fluffy; just like a cloud. Here, I think of JPG's Scandal (EDT) Pour Homme as a comparison for sweetness, which has a caramel sweetness but is still not cloyingly sweet and also comes across as lighter and not so deep/heavy.

The longer Cloud is on the skin, the creamier, even slightly spicy, it becomes. In the end, the scent reminds me of an upscale coconut body lotion when sniffed up close. Fresh might be the wrong word now; clean! It smells incredibly clean. Like you just showered and applied lotion an hour ago.

Of course, Cloud 2.0 looks great on women, but I see no problem wearing it myself. I struggle much more with floral (especially rose/lilac) scents than with sweet ones. Overall, I can perceive Cloud for 6-8 hours on me, with the first 2-3 hours being significantly stronger and around me. However, I tend to become nose-blind more quickly with scents that I associate with food (i.e., edibles). But now and then, a little cloud wafts into my nose, and I am happy that the scent is still there.

In short: I like the scent. A lovely sweet, airy-creamy coconut evening fragrance that works in all situations, except for super hot nights (temperature-wise; not what you thought).

A Dense Cloud
As a big fan of the original Cloud by Ariana Grande, I have been eagerly awaiting the release of Cloud 2.0. Of course, Ariana's fragrances are hotly debated - many love them, while others prefer to steer clear. For the price range, I find the lady's scents quite successful - just like the new Cloud 2.0: Cloud Intense.

In contrast to the regular Cloud, this one comes across as a bit “denser” and heavier right away. The coconut cream / praline combination feels significantly richer than in the beloved predecessor.
The scent progression is definitely similar in both perfumes - there isn't a huge difference in the overall fragrance experience. However, Cloud 2.0 captivates me a little more with its depth than its predecessor. Even though the scent has not diminished in “medicinal sweetness,” Cloud 2.0 definitely does not come off as cloyingly sweet, but rather wonderfully balanced. I attribute this particularly to the pear, which has a slightly longer presence in this flanker.

Alongside the fragrance notes, there is just a nice pinch of Ambroxan in the Cloud 2.0 version, enhancing the woody base in a creamy and pleasant way.

Cloud 2.0 is definitely not an absolute reinterpretation of its predecessor, but it feels like the more mature, grown-up sibling of the two.

Longevity and sillage are definitely significantly longer than with the regular Cloud.

In short:

- more mature and denser than the predecessor
- for all those who love Cloud but want more punch in the performance
- a medicinal sweetness meets creamy wood, enveloped by lavender and a pleasant, albeit very subtle, pear.
- I find the price/performance ratio truly unbeatable for the performance

H/S on my skin lasts at least 6 hours, on clothing 10 hours+

Are you the new Baccarat R. dupe?
My expectations were high, and unfortunately, they were not met.

With the Cloud Intense version, I envisioned a winter edition or a kind of going-out fragrance. In my mind, the scent should be more intense, mature, and deeper.

The Cloud DNA should, of course, remain intact, but it should still be an independent or new fragrance interpretation.
The scent is incredibly similar to the original "Cloud (Eau de Parfum) | Ariana Grande." The coconut note is missing, and the light feeling of fabric softener is not present.
However, I had to think long and hard and really reflect to notice these tiny details.
I also looked at my own review on Parfumo to remind myself of the original scent.

To me, it smells even more similar to Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum than before.
The original Cloud Eau de Parfum is by no means a dupe of "Baccarat Rouge 540 (Eau de Parfum) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian," even though one cannot deny the similarity.
One could say that the Cloud Intense is a Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum dupe.

I tested the fragrance twice on my wrist with one spray each time.
Longevity is about 4-5 hours.
In my opinion, you don't need both fragrances.
If you have the original "Cloud (Eau de Parfum) | Ariana Grande," you don't need the Cloud 2.0 Intense unless you want a good dupe of "Baccarat Rouge 540 (Eau de Parfum) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian."

Powdery lavender, resting on a cloud of musks and cream. Cloud Eau de Parfum’s mischievous but sweet sister.

Khair Confection is this but better on every metric but the bottle design, for like 1/4 of the price.

Smells like the OG Cloud but denser: less sweet and airy. I find the lavender note comes through more. Overall not as great as the OG, IMO.

I love Cloud so much that I bought a 3.4 oz. from Ulta, didn’t see 2.0 …accidentally got this. It’s lovely too, but musky and heavier.

The cloud has matured.
Creamy sweetness and coconut caress
are joined by gentle woody notes.
It lasts a bit better too.

I really don't smell any difference from the regular Cloud. H/S is amazing - I can smell it on me for at least 12 hours.

The better Cloud: creamy and fluffy like cream, H&S super. I was complimented on it right away when I first wore it. Big cheapie love!

Like a sweet candy with a fruity filling. The sweetness fades quickly, revealing the sour, fruity filling, which is off-putting.
