My expectations were high, and unfortunately, they were not met.
With the Cloud Intense version, I envisioned a winter edition or a kind of going-out fragrance. In my mind, the scent should be more intense, mature, and deeper.
The Cloud DNA should, of course, remain intact, but it should still be an independent or new fragrance interpretation.
The scent is incredibly similar to the original "Cloud (Eau de Parfum) | Ariana Grande." The coconut note is missing, and the light feeling of fabric softener is not present.
However, I had to think long and hard and really reflect to notice these tiny details.
I also looked at my own review on Parfumo to remind myself of the original scent.
To me, it smells even more similar to
Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum than before.
The original
Cloud Eau de Parfum is by no means a dupe of "Baccarat Rouge 540 (Eau de Parfum) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian," even though one cannot deny the similarity.
One could say that the Cloud Intense is a
Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum dupe.
I tested the fragrance twice on my wrist with one spray each time.
Longevity is about 4-5 hours.
In my opinion, you don't need both fragrances.
If you have the original "Cloud (Eau de Parfum) | Ariana Grande," you don't need the
Cloud 2.0 Intense unless you want a good dupe of "Baccarat Rouge 540 (Eau de Parfum) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian."
