Going into this, I knew what to expect as I had read the reviews first. When I first sprayed it, the dill pickle smell was on full display. There is no mistaking it, it is definitely straight up dill pickles. As it sits on the skin, I find that the pickle smell morphs into something herbaceous and I get a cilantro vibe. It took a full hour of wearing this for those strange top notes to completely disappear on my skin, giving way to something much more palatable and tasty. What you are left with is the complete opposite to what you start off with. I smell sweet raspberries mixed with pears, creamy coconut with a hint of rose, all laying on a delectable bed of macarons, giving an overall impression of a sweet (but never too sweet) confectionary treat.
For me, going through the ugly duckling pickle stage was worth it, in order to get down to the beautiful swan finish of what you are ultimately rewarded with.
I don't find this fragrance to be too heavy or cloying and it doesn't smell cheap either. It's well blended and I can detect all of the notes except for the musk. It leaves a lovely scent trail and the lasting power wasn't an issue for me. When I woke up after sleeping, I could still catch hints of it.
This scent takes some patience in the beginning but if you're in it to win it, you'll be glad you put in the effort to allow it to fully blossom.
After testing out my decant, I promptly ordered a travel spray and I predict a full bottle in my future.

Raspberry AG Cloud and marshmallow heaven

With a hint of the coconut DNA from AG Cloud, this perfume perfectly blends raspberry, marshmallow lightness and soft musk with to a sweet, lighthearted, young, upbeat and uplifting scent. Definitely on leaning more on the younger- reading perfume side, I think you can pull it off at any age if you really love it. If you do, it simply suits you. This perfume is a raspberry moodlifter of the sweet, macaroon kind. You simply can't wear this perfume and be sad at the same time, which also kind of embodies the namesake song it is named after.
Ariana Grande has for some reason chosen to give out young, different, but very well thought out, cleverly made perfumes for gourmand, sweet lovers.
What I appreciate about this perfume the most is that it gives this soft edge to a raspberry scent, a soft touch, created by musk and macaroon in the base, which brings it all down and giving the sharpness of a typical raspberry a soft base to land on. It opens very bright and strong, with the raspberry and pear, and after about an hour or two settles into something softer, giving you more of the coconut from Cloud and a hint of, dare I say it, an elegant rose which really ties it off beautifully. The drydown is addictive, soft, musky, yet sweet, although I wish there was a little bit more of that opening, clear raspberry in it.
If you want to feel light, youthful, fun, or like embodying the feel of summer or spring in a scent, this one is for you, especially if you like A.G Cloud, sweet scents, gourmands and looking for raspberries. I don't, however, think this is blind-buy safe. If you want a more blind-buy safe raspberry perfume, you might be better off with Burberry Her Intense instead, which is similar, but a bit more paired down, a bit more adult and not so in-your-face as this one. This scent is definitely for bubbly personalities!

luckily no pickles for me

I love this as a summer fragrance.
Luckily, my weird skin is apparently helping me in this case because I can't pick up the infamous pickle note. Test this out before you buy it, many people have claimed it smells like pickles!

I get a hit of raspberry in the beginning, the combination of notes makes me think "mango" as well. I was actually surprised when I found out there's no mango in this.
Very fruity and sweet, this is great for hotter weather and makes me think of vacationing in the tropics (never been there but it's the association I get).
If I had to rank the Ariana perfumes I own, this would take second place after Mod Vanilla.

The bottle is so kitschy but I love it. Pink = good in my book.

No pickles here!

Wow—I read the reviews a few days ago before I made my purchase, deciding to buy it anyway just because it’s not expensive at all.

No pickle juice here! Not even a drop! All I smell initially is coconut.

I find this to be incredibly bizarre because there are so many perfumes that end up smelling like pickles on my skin—this one should have and doesn’t for an unknown reason. And I dosed myself good, too, spraying twice on my arms and neck and twice on my abdomen. I’m in a cloud right now that smells like a tropical island vacation, not a pickle. I had to laugh out loud, as I’m clueless as to why my skin always does the opposite of the majority—or is it my nose?
For instance, I bought a bottle of Kilian’s Roses on Ice and only smell cucumbers, no roses at all. Not even one. My husband smells both, so I gave him the bottle, as it isn’t enjoyable to wear cucumbers all day.
But I digress. This perfume is fantastic from the beginning to end, with a light musk, evolving from a creamy fruity scent to a gender neutral scent. I still haven’t smelled rose notes, but I’ll update this post later if they do decide to come out.
Makes me want to buy her other scents!

Not very memorable

This one wasn't as memorable as any of her other perfumes. I adore Ari, Sweet Like Candy, God is a Woman, and Mod Blush, which I think fits the vibe of its pink bottle far better. This one is more similar to Cloud which I did not like as much, or R.E.M, but I think this one was better than R.E.M. I didn't think this smelt like pickles but when I owned it, that rumor hadn't come out yet. It's okay.
