wish I didnt like but hey, what can you do

Personally, I love this. And I really don't want to as I cant stand Ariana-thehomewrecker-Grande but her scents are always pretty inoffensive (except Cloud of course, that is rancid and is a scourge on our high streets as its usually all I can smell when shopping, smells like foul blood, just get BR540 at least its the 'proper' one)

I like the sweet vibes, its easy to wear for any occasion and my partner enjoys the smell so I cant argue with it :) Powdery vanilla and sandalwood, it lasted 8+ hours on my wrist with reasonable sillage for the first couple of hours. I think the powdery vibe is coming from the rice notes. I only ever use two sprays when testing frags so I did not over spray to achieve this longevity. Men pleasing scent, my BF loves this on me.

Soft vanilla

I find this to be a pleasant fragrance. The longevity is very, very good, up to 9 hours on my skin and I notice it stays even longer on my watch band or clothes. The sillage is really low. I'm a serial undersprayer and even I use 4-5 sprays of this and still feed like I could go back for another one. With this one though, more sprays won't get you a stronger result. I feel like I'm left with more of a memory of a scent than a scent itself. It smells a bit like what your hands smell like after washing your hands with milk & honey scented soap. It's also very linear on me and I don't notice many changes, if any, during my time wearing it. Where is the bergamot? I get a powdery, milky, vanilla all the way through. Sweet but not over the top, rather like vanilla sugar. I've truly enjoyed this as a work scent, since it's pretty and inoffensive. After using up two 1.2 ml samples, the full size price has me hung up on buying it. 96€ for 125 ml isn't bad, but this scent is just nice, just fine, just okay. I'm not in love with it and I could probably get a better projecting vanilla for less.

Love Notes

This is a beautifully soft, sweet, comforting vanilla. Lightly milky and a touch powdery. I don’t really pick up on the bergamot at all, so if that puts you off then don’t fear! This one is so cozy in winter, but is also airy enough to wear in summer or on warmer days without being too much. Pretty perfect, imo. Also a real compliment getter.

Beautiful scent

I'm not a fan of vanilla as it often comes across as cheap and synthetic to me. This one is quite the opposite. Airy, fresh, sensual. I like to wear it at night after my shower, my usual go-to for this is Montblanc Signature but I wanted something lighter for summer. Great value for the money and a beautiful inoffensive effortless scent.

Rice, where are you?

When I heard about the new Lovenotes collection, I immediately knew that I absolutely wanted Vanilla Suede. I was even happier about my 3-week business trip to Dublin, as they have the UK version in the Boots store there.

I have been looking for a rice scent for a long time, and I found the Lovenotes Angels Kiss absolutely wonderful from the very first spray.
Vanilla Suede primarily smells of bergamot, sandalwood, vanilla, and musk. However, I do not perceive the rice. For me, in the first (!) moment, it was a disappointment, as I expected a scent that goes in the direction of Santal blanc or Extrait blanc.

After 2 weeks of pondering, I finally bought it and had to realize: The scent is wonderful and very feminine and sensual. It wasn't love at first spray for me, as I had a completely different expectation of the scent due to the fragrance notes. However, I like it even more now and have found a new signature scent. Layered with Santal blanc by VC&A, it’s simply a dream. The (for me) missing lactonic note is complemented by Santal blanc, turning the scent into a sweet, lactonic dream.

Yes, unfortunately the rice note is missing. Too bad. Instead, I can smell a light cherry note. I expected something different, but it's still quite nice.
