The most divine Ariana perfume

My favorite Ariana Grande scent. Overall, it's a lovely fruity and floral scent.

It's not as 'vibrant' or in-your-face compared to other fruity and floral scents and, in my opinion, that's what makes it such a good scent year-round. Its sillage is not as intense as other Ari scents like Cloud and is a bit more suitable for everyday wear.

I wish it had better longevity but, because it's more understated, you can just spray more on whenever you want a refresh.

Delicious... for a Moment

GIAD is unusual in the AG fragrance lineup. The lack of marshmallow allows the fruits to shine that much brighter.

My favorite part of this scent is the initial spray. Immediately, I get juicy pear/apple and wet caramel. Super sweet and just a little bit sour! I've been comparing it to those caramel apple sucker candies that you would see around autumn.

Not very floral, despite the rose note.

Unfortunately, the initial sweetness lasts minutes before it drys down into an unremarkable vanilla and sandalwood musk. Luckily, this affords me the opportunity to touch up throughout the day just to smell that caramel apple again. There is GIAD-scented body oil, so I may look into that and see if it helps with longevity at all.

I love this, it lasts for me. It is one of my signature scents, and favorite fruity-floral.

This is one of my signature scents, mainly around spring and summer. I love love love most of Ariana's perfumes, but I only truly repurchase the ones I adore, and this one I've owned more than 3 bottles of since it came out in 2021. I pretty much need a new bottle every year. Normally I wait till Christmas and get the gift set at Ulta with the body wash ornament, and the dopper bottle, and a 3.4 size big bottle. I adore how fresh and juicy this bottle looks when out of the included stand, it is gorgeous standing by itself. This smells to me like a big juicy pear, and that Ambrette makes it a bit more of a clean-girl/mature scent than other Pear scents in Ariana's line. The Madagascar Vanilla is very understated on the dry-down but mellows out the pear a lot, and this opens very jolly rancher candy and florally and dries down a bit more sensual than you'd excpect. I get tons of compliments wearing this, and I work in the food service industry so I'm always looking for perfumes that cover the smell of grease and fast-food, this does the trick. Its also the sandalwood that makes this more mature, but its a welcomed change to the opening notes. I adore pairing this with Poppy from Bath and Body works, or Carried Away. If you like this, you probably like Pear perfume.

God is This Perfume

First of all, I should state that I'm a fanatic for pear perfumes.

Now that we got out of the way, this perfume is absolute pear perfection. You get candied pear with a little sexiness that deepens as it sits. On first spray, the fruitiness is very apparent. As it dries down, you get a little more of the vanilla and floral notes. That being said, it is still a VERY sweet pear scent!

For those who are not into the sugary scents, this one might not be for you. Nor would most of the Ariana Grande scents, IMO. But for those of us adults who are still trapped in our candied perfumes phase, this is the one.

the juicy pear

God is a Woman starts off with the juicy pear note, really shining through. It is basically the same one that is found in Thank U, Next; just this time it is paired with a mellowing ambrette instead of the coconut and raspberry mix.

It’s a juicy fruit aroma with a musky clean and some additional freshness coming from the cedar note, in the base. The muskiness from the ambrette isn’t overwhelming at all and is tempered from taking over by the rose and orris root notes.

The orris does add that slight powdery smell to God is a Woman, but it’s limited in both its size and scope.

The next phase to my nose, is when the rose shows up. It’s a seemingly brief appearance at the top of the ticket, but it is there. For some time, it actually smells like the second strongest note to me. Mostly, the floral aromas are going to play third or forth fiddle in the composition.

God is a Woman isn’t a very complex scent. You pretty much know what you’re going to get for the rest of the wear, an hour or two in.

The pear is dominant throughout. The musky ambrette and cedar provide the secondary freshness. A light vanilla note for a bit of creamy sweetness.

This one isn’t heavy the juiciness and freshness give it a semi-aquatic wateriness, which keeps God is a Woman light and enjoyable.
