aventus vibes in cheap price
the opening is fruity and citrus for half hour and then the floral accord is there but for little while in the dry down it is more of a citrus and mossy earthy woody type of fragrance , the silage is very good when ever my friend wears it i could smell him even from a distance so really good , even if it was not so good i would buy it for the bottle

Club de Nuit Intense Man minus WC-Stone
Well, first of all, one has to say that the bottle is certainly a matter of taste, but who comes up with this idea and packages it in a stylish, albeit plastic, casing? I don't know many perfumes like that.

I bought this one blind based on the descriptions, and rarely have they all been so accurate. It starts off citrusy, it must be the pineapple, and yes, significantly finer and more pleasant than in CdNIM. As much as I appreciate the latter, the synthetic fruit stands out too much. That can be unpleasant at times. Here we have the alternative for everyone who doesn't like that. Is Bucephalus thus the better Aventus clone, if I may make that statement regarding CdNIM? No, because there’s no smokiness here, it has a completely different scent progression. The pineapple becomes less pronounced over time, it becomes earthier but in a pleasant way. I have to think of cedar, but I believe, when I compare it to other scents, that the musk resonates as well as the moss.

Why do I say this? Someone commented here that at first it reminds of Aventus, later of Royal Oud. Since I think Royal Oud is great, I bought this one too. In Creed, the cedar comes through, it has musk as well, hence my suspicion. This comment is very accurate. Bucephalus really does remind one of Royal Oud later, just a bit more citrusy.
And now I’m sitting here, six hours later, the scent is close to the skin and it smells like...vanilla. Bitter vanilla, no added sweetness.
For me, and for the price, the scent is a highlight. It is indeed twice as expensive as CdNIM, which is noticeable in quality, but still cheaper than many other perfumes. Why it hardly gets any attention, I don’t know.

"The red horse simply turned around And swatted the fly away with its tail"
(awful song, but fitting for the bottle)
Okay, here we go:

Does anyone still have the energy to deal with Aventus dupes? No? I actually don’t either, and you don’t have to worry, the comment will quickly go in another direction, but at certain moments I can’t help but make references to the Allstar. I can say upfront, no fragrance twin has ever made it into the sacred halls of my perfume cabinet, but this one has. Want to know why? Then read on!

First, it must be mentioned that this Armaf belongs to the niche collection of the fragrance house, which immediately piqued my curiosity!

The Arrival (the Exterior):
I joyfully open the package, and what I see delights and surprises me even more. A giant bottle that also seems very well packaged. Our horse is initially under a round plastic cap that is supposed to provide extra protection. The bottle itself is, I’ll put it cautiously, kitschily beautiful. It is more valuable than I would have suspected from the pictures. I’ve heard that the material is supposed to give way and become fragile over time - especially the horse’s head - but I can’t confirm that yet. Only the spray head isn’t that great, as very little comes out, and you often feel the need to spray again. Maybe a trick to make it run out quickly?

The Test (the Interior):
I had tested it once before and found it good, waiting until I could get it at a good price online, so I can reflect on several tests and report back to you. In my opinion, we are generally dealing with a fresh-smoky scent here. I wouldn’t describe it as sweet-spicy, as can be inferred above. Only the vanilla brings a slightly sweet touch, but we are far from what we understand as fresh scents. But let’s start with the top note. Here we have the biggest overlap with Aventus. We have the fruity pineapple and subtle berry accords. However, the smoky notes quickly come in, although they seem quite subdued. If anyone thinks of an Interlude here, rest assured, the smoke is more of a nice, gentle veil of smoke. At this point, it can also be noted that the similarity to the Creed scent is undeniable. BUT THEN the vanilla gradually takes over the field, and one can say it is an Aventus with a vanilla vibe. However, the vanilla is not overly dominant and only brings the already mentioned minimal sweetness. From then on, the scent experience shifts between the main accords of fruit, vanilla, and smoke. It should be noted that the fruit eventually completely disappears. What lingers is a lightly smoked vanilla surrounded by a beautiful graphite note. The scent thus appears slightly bitter, fresh (in its own way), sweet, and distinctive.

The Longevity (the Exterior II):
Well, I would say the longevity and sillage are okay. For me, it’s around 7 hours noticeable with four sprays, and my surroundings perceive it for at least two hours. So if someone is looking for a dupe that lasts longer than Aventus, they will find a similar quality here. Although the original lasts even longer for me. In summary, solid longevity and sillage are offered here.

Afterwards (Conclusion):
We are dealing with more than just a "dupe" here. The "red horse" is suitable for anyone who is basically satisfied with the Aventus core DNA but would like to experience it in different facets. Especially fans of vanilla scents could get a lot out of this, as this note endures almost throughout the entire scent journey. Price-wise, you can’t go wrong here, considering that 100ml can be purchased for under 50 euros. Additionally, the fragrance is a real eye-catcher on the shelf. However, I wouldn’t recommend buying it if you are looking for a direct Aventus twin; in that case, you should rather go for L'Aventure. For me, however, it’s the best horse in the Armaf stable!

Great Aventus Clone with a Vanilla Twist
A few months ago, I received a sample of this fragrance from a parfumo. Even then, it was clear to me that I needed a bottle as soon as I could get it in Germany, which has finally happened.

The bottle is a matter of taste. It's definitely something different. There are much more expensive perfumes with less quality bottles and packaging. Aside from that, the sprayer is total rubbish. Even a 5 Euro perfume from the drugstore is better in this regard.

In terms of scent, it is definitely an Aventus clone. In my opinion, it is by far the best from the house of Armaf. The main reason for this is primarily the top note, which lacks the overwhelmingly synthetic lemon note. It's still there, but significantly toned down compared to Club de Nuit Intense Man and even less than in the perfume oil variant.
The top note comes incredibly close to my Aventus batch, just a bit more synthetic, but not disturbingly so.

As it develops, Bucephalus has significantly less smoke and much more vanilla. I really like the combination throughout.

The sillage is very good for the first 2-4 hours (depending on the weather). The longevity is excellent. I received a compliment after 8 hours while passing by. On clothing, the scent remains noticeably perceptible for almost two days.

Definitely worth its around 55 euros. Perfume freaks will stick with Aventus. Everyday fragrance lovers like me are very satisfied with this.

Pour un homme de Caron, or: What Vanilla Does to Aventus.
No, I initially didn't want to use the A-word, because the black horse head is by no means a twin scent to the black rider.
No, not even to Pour un homme de Caron. Nevertheless, this was the first fragrance that came to my mind right after spraying Bucephalus XI (what a profoundly ridiculous name).
Why?
Let me elaborate briefly and assume that you all know Aventus. Bucephalus XI starts with the zesty-fresh, fruity top note that we know and, at least I, love from Creed and its clone army. However, this is based on a dry, unsweet vanilla foundation that creates a completely different scent impression, and it's not that easy to describe. Initially, I expected a creamy Aventus variant, somewhat in the direction of Allure Homme Edition Blanche. But it is not.
Here, the vanilla does with the fruity note what it does with lavender in Pour un homme de Caron. Together, they create a vintage note for me, somewhat like sniffing into an old apothecary cabinet, but not in a negative sense. I have a similar association with Dior Homme Intense, although in a completely different, stronger manifestation and sweeter, heavier.
Bucephalus XI remains more of a fresh, light fragrance. The vanilla grounds it elegantly, more mature. It transforms the nouveau riche daredevil into a calm over-40 who fondly thinks back to old days and is not yet ready to settle for Camp David and Cool Water. Edward Mulhare could have worn it well, swirling a whisky glass in the trailer of the black Knight Foundation truck, because I also perceive a very subtle, alcoholic note. This makes the dry down a bit spicier compared to the refreshing start, and the fragrance overall more complex, but not more difficult. Despite its presentation with this profoundly ridiculous bottle, Bucephalus IX is a very reconciling companion; versatile, unexcited yet still distinctive and special. Just like Edward Mulhare. However, I would still wish for a bit more presence and endurance. Compared to its youthful, showy relative and its countless imitators, the horse head is relatively tame. So, if you want to stand out at Camp David age, you might as well reach for L'Aventure by Al Haramain or even Kouros.

Bucephalus XI starts like a fruity batch of Aventus, bitter citrus. In the drydown, you get musk and vanilla that create a nice sillage.

A much higher quality version of Club de Nuit Intense Man (batch 2017) more fruity and closer to Aventus.

In my opinion, it's a citrusy Royal Oud variant. It's still not like Aventus just because of the pineapple. I think it's even better than that.

I've tried them all, but this one is the best - a great remix with a vanilla beat.
