A queen right out of the box
My first impression of the fragrance that reached me today: Beautiful, feminine flatterer.
It opens fruity with lychee and a little bit of bergamot, I don't consciously notice the pepper.
After half an hour, the iris continues to assert itself, making the fragrance very floral and powdery.
The sandalwood in the base supports this flattering and, in my opinion, feminine composition, which is so well balanced straight out of the box. Perhaps the praline gives it some additional warmth and softness. Well-groomed, gentle femininity.
I was worried that I would regret this blind purchase at the price. The CDN Woman was not for me at all, it was too penetrating and perfumey. The CDN Imperiale was nice at first, but became too overpowering after a while.
The Maleka is truly royal and fabulous. Soft, enveloping, flattering. Sovereign and yet restrained in just the right way. I love it already! I'm actually very picky about floral fragrances, but this one is special, has that certain something.
It smells really good and lasts all year round, but I think it's perfect for spring and summer.
Whether for everyday wear or for an occasion, I think it's very versatile as it doesn't scream too loudly and isn't too heavy.
