Armaf Milestone was on my wish list for quite some time but either the stocks of the well-known online perfumers were empty or Milestone was offered at too high a price. At some point the conditions were right and I took the deal.

2020 vs 2021

I ordered this fragrance 2020 blind after reading through the notes , Creed MI tried and found too weak for the price. I was thrilled, Milestone has definitely ne similarity to its golden role model, but 1:1 comments are just bullshit, the scents are not identical at all. Sure Creed is less synthetic, especially in the opening, but that would be pathetic at the price if not. The first moment after spraying on is sharp, smells a bit like synthetic mint, window cleaner possibly something to represent melon. After about 5 minutes the perfume starts to smell very pleasant and fresh. With the watermelon note comes an association in the head: 5Gum watermelon. That this fragrance reminds of the chewing gum have confirmed two other friends, but is also not meant negatively :) The smell of a fresh version of 5Gum actually remains almost over the entire course, to the end the perfume fades in a vetiver note.

But now my problem with this fragrance: yes, I mentioned that I bought this fragrance in 2020, 2020 batch isses too. But now I could smell a 2021 batch, not only it smells different, but also not nearly as long as the older version. There is hardly a trace of the melon in the new version, just smells like a cheap room spray. Almost everyone knows by now that Armaf imitates Creed fragrances, but that they have to copy the batch stories as well? I can't explain it any other way, fakes of a 20 Euro perfume would be really silly, but I'm sure in my feeling, just like some friends and my brother, I like to get other opinions. Possibly it was now on this one bottle, or the new versions all smell like this, I do not know, but the 2020 version is really better in ALL aspects.

Durability: not particularly long, but it is also a light summer fragrance ( MI yes also), 5 hours are in, but then not much more. One smells the fragrance almost only in a radius of 50cm, in a summer perfume not further disturbing.

Season: Summer, spring. Fresh, slightly fruity fragrance for everyday life. One will offend with it no one, in the office also absolutely portable, always brings positive comments.

Flacon: Golden, chunky cube with pointed edges, silly glitter stones and a cheap gold chain, well, Armaf is now not known for aesthetic design, but at least the bottle is quite heavy, as well as the lid, which you can only get off with force. My poor evaluation of the bottle results but only conditionally from the optics, but much more from the atomizer: under all sow, drooling and you can hardly speak of a mist.
