Soft peppery woods
Purchased from : Bath & Body Works Outlet (in 2019)
Price Paid : $5.00 (on clearance)
Format : 3.4 oz EDT
Method : Left Arm/Hand
I've had this a good 6 years now, and it's not an every-day wear, but it does show me that it takes me forever to get through a bottle of cologne.
I couldn't -not- purchase this, because the cologne was 95% off. I also picked up an armful of Midnight body sprays for $2 each at the same time (2019) and I may rate that separately.
So this is an obvious Sauvage clone, or tribute rather. The initial burst is peppery and sharp, but softens itself immediately with lavender or some other soft flower. The main notes as it rests on the skin are leather, woods, pepper, and flowers.
It lasts longer than some BBW colognes but not all. I get about 3-4 hours on my skin which isn't bad.
It's inoffensive and pleasant enough, but isn't particularly noteworthy. It's not in my top choices to wear which is why it has lasted so long. It's not a substitute for Sauvage if that's what you're wondering. But it has similarities. Like I said it's more like a tribute.
