clean musky beautiful fig!

the best fig fragrance, so sweet creamy, musky, and beautiful fig! it smells like a clean dreamy beach house. smells like fresh out of the shower clean. like a spring day windows open, folded laundry, green fig. i use this as a room spray and a body spray. perfect for spring and summer mornings. but since it is fig, it also works as a clean fall scent. i really love it. it is light and doesnt last all day, but it lasts a few hours and it good to layer.

Step-father

This is a very good dupe for Father Figure by Phlur, just in case it needed repeating. I actually picked this up before ever smelling the original, and when I finally got around to comparing it was actually shocking how similar they are. Obviously, as a body mist its going to have a more harsh immediate impression from the higher concentration of alcohol, and Father Figure is better blended and extremely smooth. It is also overall a touch less complex than Father Figure. The price difference is extremely evident in this way, but considering the fact that you can pick this up for 5 dollars on a pretty frequent sale I will give it a pass. It's lightly sweet from the fig, and just the right amount of floral from the jasmine, with a softness thanks to the musk that makes it incredibly cozy. I wear this bad boy to bed all the time. I think anyone should buy this if they can, the value is unbeatable, and the perfumer is some kind of wizard.

cannot recommend enough!

I was really skeptical at first, as I've been burned by the Everyday Luxuries collection before. Thankfully, this is an absolutely perfect dupe for Phlur's Father Figure. Spraying them side by side makes them near indistinguishable. The only thing I'll say is, at least on my skin, Father Figure doesn't seem to last as long and Guilty as Fig is just a touch sweeter.

I went to bed with Guilty as Fig on and could still smell it on me the following morning! Lingering closer to my skin, definitely not projecting much. But enough to get that comforting feeling. Father Figure only lasts maybe a few hours on me, certainly not through the night.

This fragrance is so versatile and indescribably good to me. It's not too powdery, certainly not overwhelmingly floral. Something about the violet, orris, sandalwood and fig it's supposed to be imitating really do their job exceptionally well. It's this fresh, cozy, musky, creamy scent that I really can't seem to get enough of. It's so well balanced.

For the price point, it's definitely more of a guilt free purchase despite the punny name.
