Lemon Cake with Lemon Icing
Summer Vanillas Lemon is a deliciously sweet lemon bakery scent. The lemon is slightly tangy at first like lemon frosting but the tartness does not last long and it turns into a warm buttery lemon cake. I get a hint of musk but it doesn't bother me. However it is almost too sweet and very heavy feeling. It reminds me of an arabian oil because the scent is so strong, I have to apply it very lightly or indirectly.
The sillage is very big, and the scent lasted over 3 hours, whereas most other body mists rarely last an hour on me. Also this does not give me an initial blast of alcohol that I get from other mists.
My final verdict is I love the smell but it is just too heavy for me, at least in the summer heat. I will try again in cooler weather and hopefully I will like wearing it better then.
