Snowflakes & Cashmere Bath & Body Works 2016 Fragrance Mist

A semi-sweet cozy winter vanilla body spray. Not the super sweet, edible, gourmand vanillas I typically expect from Bath & Body Works. I strongly prefer this subtler, soft, and understated approach. This was my go-to body spray all winter long, especially for lazy days at home. I practically doused myself in it whenever I wanted to feel warm and cozy. Feels like bundling up in your favorite sweater with your favorite blanket to read a book.

Definitely a sweet powdery scent, but the sweet is light. It smells almost like a fresh bag of powdered sugar mixed with vanilla. I also get that powdery scent, like baby powder but extremely light. I have the shower gel, body lotion, and body mist. When I use all 3 I get a little more of that woodsy smell, which I don't usually like but it has more of a cozy feeling to it. Although this is a winter fragrance, I think it'd be nice for fall too.

This was probably the first scent I ever fell in love with. This is what made me realize that I am a vanilla girl.

It smells like a woody, winter vanilla. Over the years, I've kinda waivered on if I smelled vanilla or cashmere more. My conclusion: the initial spray is woody cashmere, and the dry down is the sweet vanilla I love. I do get a hint of the amber and tea notes, but it's not overpowering.

I've gotten compliments every time I wear this scent, and I'll probably continue to purchase it. Of course, it is b&bw and they are known for their perfumes not lasting long. The body cream lasts longer than the perfume, but it does last a while!

Every winter I come back to this, it is a more sophisticated Vanilla than Vanilla Bean Noel. Reminds me of the Billie Eilish perfume. Also reminds me of Blackheart's Deadly perfume. (Which had notes of Vanilla, Apricot, Peach, and Papaya. RIP) I could see myself layering these scents, or maybe with Mod Vanilla.
I love this scent as lotion, body wash, and perfume. One thing I'll note is typically I really only wear this in Winter, but since I just found an old bottle AND bought a new one, I can say the scent hasn't changed much, and I will be stocked. I could enjoy this in fall too. This is very cozy, not sickly sweet. One of my prefered Gourmands, and I'm not a VANILLA EVERYTHING girl. To me this was similar to Strawberry Snowflakes, so I chose this one over that. I'm somewhat regretting that now but hopefully I can grab that one soon.

Smells like warm freshly washed laundry with a vanilla detergent.
Sweet, fluffy, warm, and clean, just perfect for snuggling. Definitely not a gourmand scent. Still pleasantly sweet. I can distinctly smell vanilla and cashmere.
Longevity and sillage are really good for a body spray.
I also think the bottle is great, although mine looks different from this one.
I bought the body spray for half price in the sale, which is definitely a good deal.
