Going back for more
No, it’s not the same as the original Amber Blush from B&BW, and I don’t think I ever tried that one so can’t speak to it. All I can say is this is incredible and I’m going back for backup bottles in case it gets discontinued - people are big mad about it not being the same scent as the original. I’ve been looking for something to layer over my beloved 12:00 Eau de Parfum and Ambery Saffron, and this is the ideal mist for that. It’s absolutely beautiful alone as well, and though I understand where some are comparing it to Seeing Rouge Fragrance Mist or Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum , I disagree. It has similar notes and feel, but it’s more sheer, clean, and I think will appeal to those who may not like BR540. Amber Blush smells like it should cost much more than I paid for it during the semi-annual sale, but even at full price it’s well worth the cost. It smells grown but not mature, clean but not boring, and complex but not overwhelming. Lasting power is good for a body mist too!
