Be Joyful Bath & Body Works 2015 Fragrance Mist

Trying to project pan old perfumes and brought this one with me on vacation. Definitely more of a summer scent, but I really like it for summer! Very bold scent imo. Not sure on lasting power (bbw isn’t known for lasting power though I don’t think). Will continue to use, and it smells the same after all these years when kept in a room temperature enclosed space.

I bought this freshman year of high school and I remember keeping this in my band bag and in the glovebox of my first car. Needless to say, this has definitely picked up some wear and tear due to age and heat, but when I sprayed this on it smelled pretty much the way I remembered when I first bought it. Unfortunately, I discovered then that after about a decade or so honeysuckle will really turn into a fairly prominent powdery old lady aftertaste. I like the way honeysuckle smells but in very specific ways (usually if I like honeysuckle it's because I'm smelling a blossom) and this is an instance where it sticks out enough to give me the ick. However, once that goes away, it's predominantly one of those artificial sugary citrus-berry fragrances that have a special place in my heart. Average, and sadly doesn't fade well, so nice but not really anything special.

i first despised this because it only reeked of alcohol to me. when revisiting, it's a sweet citrus scent with underlying floral notes. it's not really a festive fragrance at all, despite being advertised as one. this is a perfume better fitted for spring and summer, due to its scent groups and the notes being tropical-leaning. melon? mango? clementine? for the fall and winter.. and the holidays?
