Red dye + poor lasting power
This is a "cult favorite", but was not as true-to-life for a vanilla cake scent as I would have hoped.
I understand that yellow cake batter is buttery/has butter in it, but the butter is a bit too strong and synthetic here for my taste.
It also wasn't identical to Confetti Cake Pop like others are saying - despite having the same scent notes, CCP was richer/had more of a cake note to it and lasted much longer (I had both and compared them side by side).
I have other BBW mists from previous years that last and project as well as an EDP, but this wasn't one of them; barely lasted 10 minutes on my skin. It also had red dye in the liquid, which I'm always wary of for staining clothes.
If you like this scent profile, would suggest picking up Confetti Cake Pop instead.
