A comforting soft mineral-y scent that disappears too soon
Purchased from : eBay
Price paid : $14 for 60% full bottle
Format : 3.4 oz bottle
Method : Right hand
Open is black pepper, cedar, and black leather with a touch of fir or pine. It skews oriental at times and flirts with it but stays outside that boundary mainly. At 10 minutes I get some soft stony and charcoal notes along with a bit of musky florals. There's just this clean mineral, smooth-stone-filled creek vibe about it.
I'm getting hints of Banana Boat suntan lotion at a public pool - but only faintly, maybe with a fresh summer thunderstorm. There's something comforting and familiar about it with a lick of danger. Rain. Yeah that's it. My Tiger Electronics "Ninja Fighter" game is gonna get wet. It grows intimate pretty fast, I'm nearly touching nose to skin after 15 minutes to sample it.
I love the "sitting in floral grass by a bubbling brook filled with charcoal and dark stones" thing this has. It's very unique. I've got my nose to my flesh now to get anything though.
Projection and longevity is trash on this one, but it has a very comforting vibe. I know now why I stopped wearing it much so soon after I got it. It just doesn't perform well at all. Performance is on par with rack store or department store brands like Belcam (Classic Match, etc) or Jean Marc Paris that aren't locked behind glass. Generally you can get away with those, but requires several re-sprays throughout the day. This is the same way.
Honestly at about 45 minutes this one taps out to a soft, floral intimate nose-on-skin scent, and for its price point is inexcusable. It stays that way for another 45 minutes before vanishing completely.
Graphite is shameful at its price. It has a great scent but it evaporates like water on cement in July. The intimate scent sticks around awhile but any projection is gone immediately. Do not overpay for this. $20 all day, and no more, end of story.
