Nice!
I won’t beat around the bush and will get straight to the scent.
The opening starts off thematically fresh-fruity, with bergamot and synthetic apple (there seem to be almost only synthetic apple scents) being underlined from the beginning by woodiness from cedar. The synthetics are still pleasant and bring the shower gel vibes into a friendly swing. Then the plum comes into play, albeit very moderately and in the background. I’m still looking for the rose; maybe someone took it with them, as I certainly can’t find it.
The combination of fresh and woody remains until the end, becoming slightly sweet, probably due to the vanilla, and leads the blend more towards sandalwood.
I hate labdanum, but here it has been integrated so well that it comes across as spicy rather than smoky or ashy.
Unfortunately, it has a relatively negative connotation when you bring out the shower gel vibes. However, here it appears rather elegant and summery. A bit too generic for a signature scent, but charming and masculine for a daily wear.
