Sex in the City? Maybe ...
Aldehydes and violet pastilles are the "out of the gate' starters in this fragrance … punchy and immediately calling "notice me, notice me!". As one who doesn't quite care for strong Violet this should be rather repellent … strangely it is not!

The saving grace here is that the Violet is rather green, however still quite sweet! A very floral heart undoubtedly has something to do with this, especially the Honeysuckle which is evident early on in Broadway Nite's development. Ten minutes in, this fragrance becomes smooth and sweet, rather than shrill and sweet.
I'm really not sure what all of this has to do with Broadway, but I guess a throng of theatre-goers filling an auditorium may very well smell like this … who knows? The Bond No.9 aesthetic has never really appealed to me … it's always seemed rather random, but coated in a veneer of nouveau riche exclusion. That being as it may (and simply an observation on my part) I am slowly making inroads into this titanic collection (which seems to grow at a rate of knots!) and finding the occasional fragrance that I would consider wearing (now I sound exclusionary!). I find the transitions in this fragrance effortless and pleasing, while the longevity is good and the sillage excellent! The base here is my favorite part … but the journey getting there is rather fun. Many men would shun wearing something that would be considered so overly feminine but therein lies the allure for me … this would bamboozle on a guy!
I'm not sure that Broadway Nite is something that would make it into my regular rotation of fragrances … but it certainly is interesting. There is a peculiar similarity here to Stephen Jones' Millinery … but immensely more wearable.

I'm testing from a sample, but this fragrance is creeping its way towards a spot on my wish list. Curious … curious indeed!

One big atomic longevity.
Wow one big atomic powdery and purple flowers, really good one, as a man i love this one and added on my collection.
Although i’m not really a powdery/floral type person,
This one very long lasting with a huge sillage.

Strange
One of the few Bond fragrances that really made me consult the cards.
Sharp, extremely aldehydic, Heliotrope wherever you smell, a bitter rose that is almost rotting.
A bit of vanilla - perhaps just to cover everything up? Honeysuckle, sweet but so artificial that it couldn't be more beautiful. And yes, violets - not modest and pure here, but just present. Pale, inconspicuous, and scentless.
Somehow, Broadway Nite is supposed to smell green. But it is so sharp that it really hurts the nose.
Not a peppery sharpness, but simply biting, as if you briefly held your nose to a bloated bottle of chemicals and quickly turned your head away in disgust. Yet, you CAN wear it - for sure!
But at most 2 sprays. Anything more would really be too much!

Broadway Nite
B - bitter
R - rough
O - OmG
A - eye-catching
D - thick
W - boom
A - aldehydic
Y - Yammi? Well, maybe the noodle soup?

N - narcotic
I - intense
G - grave-like
H - disharmonious
T - dare yourself!

For me, a WOW fragrance!
After some sniffing sessions, we were about to leave the perfumery, but Kankuro didn't give up - he held out a test strip to me with the words: "Come on, smell it one more time." In the next few seconds, I was captivated. I was totally fascinated by the scent and immediately took a bottle with me. Since then, I have been approached many times about the wonderful fragrance. However, I would never use it in summer. In strong heat, the scent changes for the worse; it simply becomes too overpoweringly sweet. Definitely a fragrance that I will repurchase!

velvety stars in the night
I am always cautious with aldehyde fragrances, as they often scratch at me or come off as overly elegant.

That's why I hesitated with Broadway Nites due to the pyramid.
However, the Bonds always charm me with a cheerful, unexcited basic mood, a fact that draws me to this brand.
Additionally, the unbeatable longevity on my skin.

And Broadway Nite does not disappoint me either.

It greets me with soft aldehydes and delicately bitter violet.
The honeysuckle is slightly sweet, surrounded by shimmering heliotrope.
The iris is powdery dark and the rose is full and velvety.
Vanilla emphasizes the warmth of the scent and the woods are noble and smoky.

The night theme is well captured in Nite - although it can also be worn during the day.

A somewhat more serious Bond and playful - yet by no means stiff or "madamish".
It fits quite well with my casual outfit - but would certainly also look good with "fine attire".

My dear husband has chosen the fragrance well for me, and I praise his good taste.

Neon green light advertising on Broadway. Aldehyde hail for freshness. The violet is green + modest. Vanilla powder sprinkles on metallic roses. Nope.

Fresh, clean, soapy. But not sharply soapy, rather deliciously fluffy soft-soapy.
Becomes more beautiful and powdery over time.

Beautiful late summer scent, woody, powdery, sweet, amber-like, last blossoms and warm colors hint at autumn. H&S are dreamy.

Not suitable for a man at all, and I wouldn't necessarily want to smell it on a woman either!

When roses dance intimately with violets,
aldehydes shine in the sky and
linger on a fluffy creamy bed, it must be love.

A floral trip of a special kind, multifaceted like a Broadway show, full of transformations and layers, ending with lipstick, a delicate scent.

I personally perceive honey right at the start, even though it's not listed. Beautiful powdery note from iris. Later on, the listed rose comes through.

sweet powder box, with an hard-to-place green floral note. Strange, a bit old-school, not quite rounded, but somehow it has something.
