A Slinky Little Black Dress in a Bottle
This is a deep, dark, mysterious, sultry tuberose scent. It's resinous, woodsy, creamy, balsamic, chocolaty, boozy, and floral with a touch of flirty fruitiness. The tuberose feels thick and in lush full bloom almost on the verge of decline. The opening of the sweet black current is offset by the bitter and woodsy davana, opening the door to that big, bold, bodacious tuberose soon followed by a luscious, subtly spicy, chocolaty vanilla. No doubt the spicy myrrh combined with the vanilla and benzoin is creating that accord to my nose.
This is a rich, voluptuous fragrance whose presence will be known. I am getting the full effect of what I think Sophie Labbe intended, which is a deep, dark and mysterious bittersweet fragrance, and I am really enjoying it.
