Heavenly Curse of Flowers
It is not pirates, but flowers, to be precise: a heavenly olfactory flower monster made of lily of the valley, tuberose, jasmine, and ylang-ylang (in that order), that attacks my skin and transforms the room I am in into a glorious sea of blossoms when I spray Pirates 2.0 on my wrist or ear.
Anyone expecting a dark, wild sound of the sea, dirty pirates, barrels of whiskey, treasures of gold, wine, women, men, or singing due to the name of the fragrance will be bitterly disappointed.
If anything, one could compare Pirates 2.0 to a treasure chest that a bunch of pirates - who haven't washed in weeks - have stolen from a ship coming from the Netherlands and transported to the sunny island of Tortuga to greedily open it. However, when they succeed, they are met with a completely different kind of treasure:
First, a fresh bergamot, enchantingly natural lily of the valley, and exotic-creamy-green tuberose greet them, followed by the sweetness of a pear, and then sweetly narcotic floral scents of jasmine and ylang-ylang, before lightly woody amber and sweet musk join in, completely intoxicating the pirates. A floral spirit has jumped out of the chest. The bestial body odor of the unwashed has vanished. Instead, Pirates 2.0 radiates on the skin for hours. Like an olfactory curse, the floral scent follows the pirates, who cannot manage to wash it off.
Pirates 2.0 enchants their hearts, makes them laugh, drink, and be merry, and so they carry the intoxicating scent until they find or conquer another.
The scent will likely appeal more to the female and diverse species than to the male, and correspondingly, they will wear it more often.
I love wearing the fragrance in spring and in the cooler summer.
