Golden honey

Do you love honey? And do you like "Euphoria"? Then the new limited edition scent could be your cup of tea (with honey, of course). The familiar structure of "Euphoria", the fruity candyfloss, can still be experienced under huge layers of sweet, golden honey. Very strong fragrance. I found it nauseating. But then again, I really dislike honey.

Help, my nose is stuck!

My nose is stuck! On my wrist! Help!

I got the Euphoria Gold "sourced" from EvilCal (Oh, thank you!!!) and now: Now I can't get my nose away from this fragrance! Happy little bees are buzzing in my brain. And the bear is dancing pirouettes around the apricot tree. Or how else should I describe it?

I'll try to be completely rational:
When the kids were little, they had fruit puree in the afternoons. Occasionally, the ones from the jar. I particularly liked peach-apricot! Me? Of course, because they always left some behind. And Mama would nibble on the leftovers with a plastic spoon. Yum!

I admit: There is a bit of plastic in Euphoria Gold too. A hint of artificial. But there’s also so much more fruit puree. Especially right when you spray it! Oh, if only it could always smell like that in the first 5 minutes. Then I would give it 100%! There’s also a citrus-fresh note. As if fully ripe peaches have just fallen from the tree after a rain.

At first, I was disappointed when I realized how quickly the scent changes again. That was before I cooked the peaches or apricots. With a BIG spoonful of honey added! The scent fills the entire house. Standing right by the stove, you think: Uh, sweet! But from a distance:
Delicious! Want it!
Nose to the wrist.
And sniff, sniff, sniff!

I’m not interested in the gardenia or the daffodil. Especially not what’s supposedly in the base note. The top note and the honey are enough for me.

As already mentioned: This is not a fragrance for people who don’t like gourmand scents.

But if you have a penchant for big, thick, dark brown bears, and want to let them dance happily together with little, euphoric bees....

PS: Mine has just stopped dancing. Instead, he’s vying for space on my wrist.

Honey Pot

~ Inspiration ~
I am always on the lookout for fragrances with honey - that's how I came across "Euphoria Gold." I received a sample for testing from the lovely Duftige.

~ Bottle ~
The name already hints at the prominent golden honey note. The round, curvy bottle immediately indicates that it is a flanker of "Euphoria" - it looks more luxurious in the golden tones, though.

~ Scent ~
Upon dabbing, a sweet, creamy honey note greets me right away. Ripe apricots add a slight fruitiness, rounded off with daffodils and gardenias. It finishes warm and sensual with sandalwood and patchouli.

~ Longevity ~
On my skin, it lasts about 6 hours (a bit longer on clothing and hair). A few sprays are enough, as it is quite intense.

~ Occasion ~
A nice scent for the colder days and evenings in autumn and winter. However, for the office, it might be a bit too gourmand for me.

~ Conclusion ~
I like it very much, as I expected a lovely honey scent and was not disappointed :)

I am left in awe that something like this exists...

The classic Euphoria really appealed to me when it was released.

I would only reach for this if I want to bait a big bear :) then

however, this scent would be my first choice ;)

In the first ten minutes, everything is fine....

and then the terrible word in the heart note makes itself known: honey!
It's not for nothing that they have it in bold, because only this scent note spreads after a lovely fruity, apricot-like opening... of course, I knew it beforehand, but as a convinced gourmand lover, I was also convinced that honey scents fit my taste... once again fallen for the blind buy... For me, it's not sweet enough, rather strange, but definitely DIFFERENT... let's see if I give it another chance... I actually thought it would go in the direction of Roberto Cavalli Gold, which I like very much... but there’s no honey in that one either... so if someone is looking for a pure honey scent, this one is the right choice... the other listed notes can be considered a footnote... it does have one plus point, namely the longevity... anyone who wants to be enveloped in honey will be for a long time... I, for one, believe I'm not a bear after all... sniff...
