La Belle Rose Noir
My taste is definitely changing… a few years ago I would have found this too sweet, but not now. I find this overwhelmingly delicious and a beautiful interpretation of the Black Rose. I have had the Tresor Midnight Rose, but it had the Raspberry note in the top as well, so it was too sweet-fruity. This is perfect. It balances so well with the Lychee Praliné, seductive and elegant.
When I wear it I cannot help sniffing my wrist. It gives me such pleasure all day through, because this is a great performer. Endless hours of goodness, that is.
Do NOT hesitate to try this if you like sweet gourmand fragrances!

Pleasant and very sweet
No flanker has yet equaled the original, first Trésor, which still feels unmatched in its depth and emotional impact. This scent is pleasant—very sweet, at times almost tipping into cloying territory—but it remains enjoyable in a straightforward, approachable way. It somewhat reminds me of the dynamic between Opium and its younger siblings: the DNA is recognizable, yet the magic of the original isn’t fully recaptured. It’s nice to smell and easy to appreciate, but it doesn’t linger in the memory with the same iconic presence as the classic…

Dark licorice
I tested this perfume on my sister who has had a bottle for a few years. This scent is great, thick, sweet syrup. Very dark in tone, almost black. If colors had scents, black would smell like that. What surprised me is that in this thick syrupy scent I can pick out a few specific notes. When I smelled it for the first time, not yet familiar with the scent pyramid, the first thing I felt was licorice. I am very sensitive to this note because I love licorice and for me licorice is the star of this scent. There is also rose, very sweet, dark and intoxicating, you can also feel the earthy chocolateness, but mainly I smell the controversial licorice jelly which I ate as a child in Denmark and which many people hate. This licorice note is so strong here and I like it so much that I could occasionally go out with it to some elegant dinner or to the theater. I recommend testing it also men because it can look interesting on men's skin.

Boozy gourmand goodness
This to me smells like an alcohol-filled bonbon with a strawberry inside. It's also quite synthetic and the patchouli is definitely there. I do like the caramel in this one, whereas I normally hate caramel in perfume (Chopard's Wish has a terrible caramel note imo). The drydown on me is a mix between sharp patchouli and incense, with vanilla in the background.

The scent gives of dark vibes and is perfect for cold temperatures. On hot spring and summer days this would definitely be too cloying and overwhelming. It is so strong that I can practically taste the perfume. It also lasts rather long on skin.

Overall La Nuit Tresor is a like for me. It simply reminds me too much of boozy bonbons, otherwise this may have been a love. It lacks a little sophistication for my taste. Still, a bit of a sexiness here...

Better than the original Tresor
Very sweet fragrance but not overtly girly. There's a nuance to this that makes it stand out a bit more from some of the other sweeter, gourmand scents that are out there. On me, it's very fruit forward and the fruit sort of settles but doesn't take a backseat even after the dry down. I pick up on the caramel, praline, and vanilla which adds a smooth and creamy quality to the scent. The floral notes take a backseat to the fruits and caramel. The amber and spice sits right about at the level of the florals - it's there but doesn't shout at you like the fruits and adds a layer that grounds the scent. It lasts pretty well on me and I do get whiffs of it here and there throughout the day. I wouldn't wear this every day, but it is a nice, safe, feminine scent that has a mature (but not granny) quality and errs on the side of sexy. There is still a bit of a generic, department store perfume aisle quality to it but I'm picky when it comes to fragrances and definitely prefer indie brands/less accessible fragrances so I'm nitpicking this one. I would choose La Nuit over the regular Tresor, its a night and day difference.

The smoky flower never stood a chance. Instantly crushed by the cotton candy monster's sugary sweetness

Dark and mysterious sweetened & resinous rose. Something slightly minty/camphor-like if you really get in close. Not bad, but not a love.

If you can get a pre-2019 bottle you're in for a treat. Many notes were removed, so its no longer the darker insense-y gourmand it was
