Love in the hotel
She will never forget this holiday in the luxury hotel on the French Riviera. The ambience, the rooms, the food - simply a dream. And there he was. He was working at the reception. Southern type with dark eyes and a muscular body. A wonderful smile. And always that look when she walked in the door. Aurélien was his name. French.

She enters the lobby and breathes in the intense room scent. Characterized by orange blossom, typical of the south and the sea and also a fine jasmine note makes itself noticeable. A very elegant fragrance, would definitely also pass as a perfume. Myrrh, opoponax and benzoin give a sweet and resinous impression and the composition is grounded by patchouli. The whole hotel smells of it. It is the scent of the house. An element of corporate identity. Even the employees have to wear this scent, it's a rule, Aurélien once told her when he joined her for a café au lait during his break at one of the pool bars.

Always smiling when he caught sight of her, taking every opportunity for a brief conversation. And one night, when she returns from going out, he finally takes her in his arms. After a stormy kiss, he pulls her into the washroom and they give themselves to each other.
Here the scenting is particularly pronounced. Add to this the development of the perfume on his skin, where the patchouli note is a little more refined on her. She took a small bottle of the house fragrance home with her. And whenever she puts on a few droplets, she's back at the luxury resort and with Aurélien.

A schmonzette, from my pen. Not really my metier, but these images immediately went through my head at Carine Roitfeld's Aurélien. Yes, this is a very fine orange blossom perfume, very appropriate for this region and just very typical of such luxury resorts, which also like to overdo it with the scenting sometimes. In short, I couldn't wear Aurélien, even though these are actually my notes through and through. I'm mentally in the hotel lobby and have to think about the toilets, where you have to cut through the scent. Nope, it's not mine, but that's only due to my personal associations. Even a dime novel can't get me out of it. But craftsmanship is absolutely top, so an 8 from me for this racy French.

Thanks again to Licorice for the testing opportunity
