The fragrance opens with a burst of citrus and marine notes, creating an immediate sense of freshness and energy. As it settles, the floral heart notes of cyclamen and lily of the valley add a delicate and feminine touch. A Solid Freshie for the Ladies

Now I am testing an original manufacturer sample of Bleu Marine pour Elle. I find this fresh fragrance quite successful, although not very original. At the beginning, it even came across as rather unisex, but as it developed, the feminine nuances became more prominent. The longevity is poor at around 4 to 5 hours, and the sillage is only slightly stronger.

The top note starts green, maritime, fresh, and subtly citrusy. In the heart note, cyclamen, lily of the valley, and a hint of iris dominate the further scent progression. The base is rather weak, with some vanilla, amber, and balsamic notes of sandalwood.

In the end, we have a solid, summery shower gel scent for rather younger ladies, which has unfortunately been discontinued.

My girlfriend wore a stylish Cardin sunglasses, and my father was always well-dressed in Cardin as well.

A good reason to take a closer look at my Cardin fragrances.
Then I came across the lighthouse-like Bleu Marine bottle, whose blue contents promise fresh seawater.
The citrus notes tickle the nose awake and evoke thoughts of warm Mediterranean cruises.
A snow-white ship on blue waves.
One walks over swaying planks, leans against the railing, and catches a whiff of the greenery of the coasts.
Pines and cypresses, mixed with macchia.
The lily of the valley greets from the Mediterranean forests.
All these aromas are carried over by the salty fresh sea air.
Along with the soothing rise and fall of the ship.
Safe as in a cradle.
Pleasantly drowsy, one listens to the laughter of the seagulls.
I think of the large old overseas wooden chest with which my great-grandmother once set off for "the new world."
How adventurous must that have been?

The chest now adorns our living room, and I often wonder what it contained on its long journey.
Although it now only holds boring table linens, it still speaks of past adventures and a significant new beginning.

Above all, it is inspired by the impressive pioneering spirit of my great-grandmother.
