Straight up synthetic candle mess
Yeah, this is a bad synthetic candle mess. I wouldn't mind smelling this as an ambiance candle, but I would never wear this on my skin. The beginning is a very saccharine, synthetic apple note. The apple is tart, fresh and bright, but overwhelmingly so which indicates an artifical/synthetic aspect to me. I'm sure I've smelled this somewhere while browsing candles at Winners. Dries down to a weird, synthetic vanilla paired with a slightly powdery tonka bean and a hint of synthetic caramel.
It's giving candle. Straight up candle. I'm pretty disappointed in Jousset as they're touting themselves as being a very gourmand brand, but all I've smelled up until now are poor blended fragrances at an exorbitant price, synthetic messes and scents that would be better smelled as a candle. This is a hard pass and I recommend you try 'em out before committing to a full bottle.
