A Delicate Dream
I blind-bought this fragrance after the descriptions sounded so promising.
I wasn't disappointed.
My goodness, it's beautiful.
Iris is my absolute favorite floral note, and I like it in almost every form: nutty iris, buttery iris, lipstick iris, green iris, herbal iris, dusty iris, smoky iris, etc.
Here, the iris is beautifully dusty, discreetly woody and ever so, ever so light.
The cedar is so perfectly balanced.
It just peeks through slightly.
A soft violet leaf underneath.
This fragrance isn't as dusty as Besos and isn't as cool and salty as 1957 Eau de Parfum.
A delicate sweetness develops over time, but never the slightly makeup-like sweetness of Iris de Syracuse .
I'm sure it couldn't last any longer without becoming heavy.
This fragrance is so airy, you want to fly in it - in a cloud of fluff.
I haven't been this happy with a blind buy in a long time.
This fragrance is a dream.
