Comfort fruit
Imagine a bunch of prunes and apricots being boiled down to a thick, condensed broth. Heavy aromas full of warm flavors. There is honey here, but not particularly sweet. In fact, the scent is surprisingly leathery at times. I particularly like that musky impression when sniffed up close. And then there are tiny bits of smoke and resin that make things extra interesting.
This heavy fruit concentrate is strangely pleasing somehow. Sort of a 'comfort food' effect: full belly, satisfied feeling, time for a nap. Recommended for the colder days.
