My first official women's fragrance. For me. Bought blind. (Song to follow)
So. Now the time has come. I really bought a women's perfume. Blind. The derogatory comments here inspired me.
No, not for my girlfriend. For me. Although she can use it too.
Very nice. I would say unisex, although actually? Viiiiiiiiel more masculine than Dior Homme Intense (2011), any version of Emporio Armani - Stronger With You, Le Mâle Eau de Toilette, or anything in that direction.
For me, those are all women's fragrances, and not attractive ones. Just sweet, ZERO masculine, in my opinion.
That I stand here completely alone is quite clear to me.
It is definitely borderline, and definitely something different than I expected… yet more floral and a bit more perfumey than I thought… still good.
The opening is really big, citrusy-bitter with juniper. Very cool.
Then the geranium pushes itself quite forcefully to the forefront. Maybe a bit too much. But only temporarily. Spices and leather come in and tone everything down. The rose does resist, but then sits down politely. It remains present, but is kept in check by wood and (too little) leather.
A little tense, but that’s exactly why it’s exciting.
I like it.
It would like to be high-class intrusive, but is still gentle. It still has something rough… pretty cool. Nice edge.
H/S impressive.
€56 instead of €250 at sobelia. You can definitely buy it blind. A bit more leather wouldn’t have hurt.
It’s not entirely unlike Explosive Eau de Toilette. Which is good. I also think that one is great.
Song? Hmm. Dance Macabre by Ghost would be too easy… Halestorm, maybe. Here’s to us. It’s a bit dirty :)
